This works for a few selected fast point guards. I couldn't even do it with Lebron. And also you have to move the same direction of the ball hand.

I can do it both ways with whoever. Do I blow by people if I'm using Bird? No but I still get explosions without hitches, which is my goal. I think people should watch the simhangouts where Czar and OG talk about the game. It's clear they didn't want a game arcadey. This isnt 15 you aren't gonna blow past the CPU or make them fall bc you hit the rstick twice in different directions. Like someone said use that ride the hip animation and also your triple threat moves. Don't worry about dunking everytime like in 15. This game is a different animal. A beast IMO

I will say this I had something happen I've never had in my favor...I was killing with drose all game so the cpu during the 3rd quarter decided to full court press me coming out of the backcourt with drose...I sprinted upcourt and the cpu pg tried to bump me/stand in front of me(but couldnt keep up)everytime continuously...this resulted in numerous blocking fouls against the cpu ai... after the 3rd one it stopped and started dble teaming me half court...Ive never receved blocking fouls in my favor from the cpu ai in past 2ks thought that was cool

Man honestly i couldnt i say if clarkson couldnt recover like that irl stuff happens...irl folks wouldve never thought iverson wouldve crossed jordan up it happens..... random stuff happens in the nba ..my thing is I didnt feel CHEATED at all and thats all that mattered/matters..it felt good, I got BY...point proven that its POSSIBLE..Dont get me wrong there are/were times I felt cheated by the cpu AI in other games and even past 2ks and lives, but so far on Allstar difficulty on 16 I cant complain...I've had worse happen to me on games with less control and horrible graphics....no complaints here

Teleporting dunks..players warping etc...didnt start with 2k nor will it end ..its a video game it happens...my only gripe is how much it does happen (which is less than some games now and early 90's/00's bball games from ea & 2k i've played) even da czar and Og mentioned "there will be sliding in 2k16 (it happens)our job was to minimize as much as we could with the new footplanting ...it wont be perfect but it will be better" this was via a simhangout video so I already approached 2k16 with rl expectations...All I can say is if you want perfection go outside and play a human in a game of basketball...cant beat that overall experience at all..ps The cpu wasnt bailed out I was harden(no foul was called on me when it shouldve been for the elbow technically) If im understanding the 1st part of your post correctly.....

And in the first part of my post I meant the foul should be called on Clarkson. The bail out is for him (the cpu) because you performed the right move to get by him but 2K has animations for the CPU that negate that without a foul being called.

Gotcha but nothing Man made is perfect especially dealing with electronics, programs, games,infrastructures, etc..there will always be flaws..the best replicate of the real world will always be REAL LIFE..they can only try their best in the gaming realm ...



Ps..honestly the bail out was for me (for a change) harden straight MWP'ed clarkson with that elbow ...so im happy I got away with a little dirt..(as harden always does irl) that shouldve definitely been an offensive foul on me (look at it in slo mo) [emoji28]

Can you post videos with like Kobe or Lebron since you said you can do it with everyone? Not doubting you but i'd like to see how it's done. I went into practice with a bunch of people and did the size up moves but only few guards have these "explosion " take off at the end of the size up moves.

I did one more test with Harden.I interrupted his right size up when the ball went to his right hand i pressed turbo and right...he boosted but initiated contact at the same time ...it seems he gave a slight elbow to the defender as he drove past . Lol the defender hesitated a little from the contact which gave harden the upper hand as he drove to the rim...he still missed the layup but i got by my defender and watching it all take place in slo mo was dope

Can anyone give me some tips on using the jab steps and other moves with the RS when you havnt used you dribble yet? I can't seem to launch out of them with any consistency

I've always sucked at getting by the CPU for several reasons:

-I sometimes forget to flick and instead hold the RS. I LOOK good when I remember to flick, but I'm rarely able to get by slower defenders.

-I like isomotion more than size ups. I feel more in control, and the manual isomotion is more fun. But size ups seem to get the CPU out of position more often.

-I may be holding RT which may be stopping me from explosing like folks have mentioned, because I NEVER seem to explode into a drive. I'll look into that tonight. Thanks for mentioning that!!!

-Of the few times I'm able to get by the CPU, half of those times the CPU seems to get back into position too quickly.

-I do ocassionally get those unintentional stutters too, allowing the D to get back into position.

I agree they do need to tone it down, it reminded me of the live 16 demo playing against the cpu in the summer circuit. It was impossible to get by a defender even with a player who's known for breaking people down.

1. The Harden video was money. He even threw his head back on contact to try to draw a foul.

2. You have to get the defender to move his feet, or shade to a side, or commit to something. If you just try to get past a guy playing straight up locked on defense it's going to be really tough.

3. No more "one screen and you're open at the rim" this year. I love it. You never see that in the NBA, you have to move the defense.

4. Size up, or call for a pick and look at the defenders feet. If he shades to a side or even better SWIPES at you, attack right away with the sprint button.

Once I got adjusted to the new game I was blowing by LeBron with Kawhi at times. It all depends on what the defense gives you (WATCH THEIR FEET). Also, before you move, look at the defense and anticipate where the help will come from, and have a plan to throw an icon pass to the helper's man for an open shot.

NBA 2K16 I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!
