I'm way worse than, best i can shoot with KD is 2-6. Average 3pt is %200.

i struggled with kd when game first launched. since the patch (cant rem which patch), the shooting got better. rem to quick release if on offline. ya i know it says normal in his signature, but infact, his release is super quick to be on target.
i cant comment much on patch 4 cos now i'm running with the raptors. lowry was great (i tweaked his shooting form) but derozan was cold everywhere.
another tip is run the plays where his landing spot is in his hot zone (right wing and the two corners). 95 quick 2 and quick 23 up play will do just that. run fist loop 24 also can and that will give u a pnr if u cant pull it off.

I can't seem to get it right with any sliders on this game. No community sliders that I have tried just don't feel realistic to me. I'm just using the default simulation sliders. So please anyone, what is the best sliders if any are the best for this game?!?!?!?

even on rookie level everybody is always open.
i make adjustments and it seems to get worst.
Im absolutely frustrated with this, just raged quit again!!!!!!!

Best advice I can give you go to YouTube search for Sam Pham and watch all of his defensive tutorials.

funny I posted for other folks to check the sam pham videos about a month ago. but truthfully those videos does not improve the defensive experience.
the defensive ai logic is just screwed up.

can someone please explain to me how to hop step?

ive tried so many times and i can't get any players to do it. The only way i can is by pressing X which sometimes will cause a player to simply drive and throw up a horrible layup.

sometimes it is good for separation but sometimes it shoots and its also not a true hop step. Hop step is one of the biggest things i used, i skipped 2k15 last year, so the dribbling is a bit different to me.

Can someone please help me out here?

Just tape X/square WHILE driving. Make sure you let go of turbo while doing this

hmm this is what i usually do, BUT, perhaps i am laying on turbo as i am driving to the hoop, i will try to remember to let go of turbo, that must be it...

dont forget on the left stick as it dictates where u hop to. i luv the hop step move this year ...

thank you this helps too. i started to focus on not holding turbo as much last night and it definitely helped. i was a bit more successful with the hop steps.

now i think it comes down to realizing where im directing the left stick like you said, and also the timing of it, making sure i have the right rhythm.

Any tips for getting more put back dunks ? I know how to do them , just wanna do them more often .
