Sorry if it has been asked earlier but what is the difference between absolute and camera relative with controller settings for dribbling moves?

one is when u push the right stick to the right, the action on the player really goes to the right. like when u do hesitation, u need flick the right stick towards the ball hand direction. doesnt matter on which camera view u use (2k, broadcast etc). u will just need to push the right stick to the right.

on the other, depending on the camera angle u use, it may not be always right. u might end up having behind the back dribble if u do that. relatively, flick 45 in that direction instead of straight right for a hesitation.

How do I, when performing a lay-up, finish on the same side that I'm driving to?

The player I'm controlling always does a reverse lay-up no matter which way I press the stick, which results in me getting swatted online 90% of the time.

not sure what u mean. if u wan to finish with left hand, push the right stick to the left. if u drive to the basket ALONG the baseline and u point right stick to the left (towards the baseline), u wont finish the layup with left hand.

I make this mistake all the time. JoFri is right, when driving along the baseline you have to remember to still push the shot stick to the right or left depending on what side of the court you are on. I get in a hurry to finish and push up instead and it's leather eating time.

Can someone tell me why, when I'm editing a playbook, that when I choose to replace a play that is assigned to a player, the original play goes away, but the play that I choose to replace it, doesn't show up?

For example, I hate having a bunch of pre-assigned ISO's for my PGs. I usually replace many of them with a PnR Option or a Cutter or something. Sometimes when I delete the ISO play, and replace it with one of those other kind of plays, the play will sometimes succcesfully gets replaced, but not always.

Does anybody know how to change a teams go-to/default Offensive set? (E.g. Princeton, Houston, Trangle etc.)

I find myself commonly changing this at the start of each game in GM mode and it kills me!

yes u need to do it everytime as we cant change the freelance default offense for the team.

if u replace a iso play with other plays such as cutter in the playbook, whether that replaced played is updated in the player assign screen depends whether he has that play TYPE. if he doesnt have the cutter play type, u wont see the play updated to his assigned play.

Teach me how to turn off auto post up. I taught this year we have more control in the post. I would just automatically posting up without pressing the left trigger. I want to post up manually or just stand still without going into a post up.

This is the first 2K I've played in a couple years. During free agency, there used to be something on the contract screen that showed the amount of MLE available. I haven't been able to find something like that this year. Does this exist somewhere?

How do I do a pump fake, where I sucessfully get the defender to leave his feet, but my guy doesn't automatically jump into him to draw contact and a shooting foul. Happens almost 90% of the time I do a pump fake, and I'm certain I'm not touching the shot stick after I get the defender in the air.

Is this just a glitch in the game?

I can't shoot 3's with KD on HoF-Sim. I shoot with everyone else. Is something wrong with KD? His ratings are great but shoots doesnt drop in.

It's got to be something with either the release or the shot quality. Also getting warmed up really does seem to help. Hit a couple mid range jumpers or some free throws before you start jacking up threes, that seems to help me anyway. I know sometimes it also just seems like you're missing a lot but really you might be shooting 50%. Remember shooting 40% from three is good by league standards, I know missing 6 out of 10 especially with a superstar feels like you are missing everything, but in reality that's not a bad line.

I'm way worse than, best i can shoot with KD is 2-6. Average 3pt is %200.
