Didn't know where to ask this, and this may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to get the CPU to play it's star players increased minutes? I play Offline Myleague, and I just had the Rockets pull James Harden 6 minutes in the first quarter when down 5 points.

I know this has been talked about before, but I have no idea where to find any information on how to, or even if I can, address this in some way.

Only way I know is with 30 team control where you can set the minutes/rotations for each team.

The CPU rotation AI still needs work, both in game and when setting rotations.

It still overplays starters in the last minutes of the game without regard for their fatigue, it can't consider management of minutes with both fatigue and intended rotation minutes at the same time.

Another issue is it automatically starts high draft picks, even if there are able veterans in their prime with several OVR points more than the rookie. You can manually edit the rookie to force non starting for a year but that's kind of a workaround for teams you don't control. If an injury knocks the better player out on a team you don't manage actively then using that setting will keep your high pick rookie backup on the bench.

Those are just a few issues off the top of my head.

But I can't get his icon to be active to select him while he's the baseline passer.
Xbox1 control : simply RB to icon swap player to the passer (done in myleague offline).

I've tried that and it literally won't highlight the inbound passer to be selected. But what the heck, I'll try again. Thanks.

Hah! I got it to work. The inbound passer's positional icon does not display, but if I select it his appropriate icon anyway, I can move him.

              Thanks!

does anyone know how to set other lineups in myleague?

Right now my bench lineup has a PG at the 4 and a PF at the 2. I know that minutes set and the order they appear from top to bottom impacts the bench but is there a way to specify lineup? Like what if I wanted to set the tall, quick, 3pt, etc lineup before a game in the menus (not what pops up immediately before a game)? You use to be able to in previous games.

What is the best defensive assist settings for a Guard and Center that will allow me to not get beat and stay with my man and at the same time play good help defense.

hey everyone, im looking for advice on the best way to score as an inside center. im in a couple pro am leagues and i am one of the top dogs, but everyone wants to "run n gun" so i mostly score off pick n rolls or just diving to the rim. when we do slow it down and i post up, id grade myself at a B- in the post. i know all the moves, i got that down. but what i dont know is what situation to use which move in. My favorite one is if i have them deep in the paint ill do a post step back thats usually money. any other suggestions?

Use fakes with all your moves. Back down once or twice, use a fake and then quickly do your move in the opposite direction. Usually too quick for users to read . I use em w/ hooks , stepbacks and fades

Is it possible to get perimeter lockdown badge as a PF or C?

question. im working on an inside center, and my friend that has 3 people on his squad that are in top 100, say that they dont make big men and assign them any attribute bars to playmaking. they say it is useless, that from 0-20 bars, their is no difference. so i took my player to pro am, and i would get defensive boards and throw them down to half court with no problem, and i would get stripped about as often as i did with my other big man who has 18 bars on playmaking. what is your guys's oppinion?

I would like to know if it is possible to cancel an intentional foul command. Thanks.

If you're playing with people you know, so you're guaranteed to get some shots and opportunities, I always start with a fadeaway just to see what the defender does. Once you've taken one of those you open all the other moves up as the defender is going to be jumpy, whether it's the up and under or the drop step etc.

It's preference. I generally play point center so I have maxed out playmaker. It's perfect for my playstyle though. I also have another incomplete center on different account with only 5 bars in playmaker and I can really tell the difference between the 2.
