Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
Didn't know where to ask this, and this may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to get the CPU to play it's star players increased minutes? I play Offline Myleague, and I just had the Rockets pull James Harden 6 minutes in the first quarter when down 5 points.
I know this has been talked about before, but I have no idea where to find any information on how to, or even if I can, address this in some way.Comment

The CPU rotation AI still needs work, both in game and when setting rotations.
It still overplays starters in the last minutes of the game without regard for their fatigue, it can't consider management of minutes with both fatigue and intended rotation minutes at the same time.
Another issue is it automatically starts high draft picks, even if there are able veterans in their prime with several OVR points more than the rookie. You can manually edit the rookie to force non starting for a year but that's kind of a workaround for teams you don't control. If an injury knocks the better player out on a team you don't manage actively then using that setting will keep your high pick rookie backup on the bench.
Those are just a few issues off the top of my head.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
I don't think we're talking about the same thing. What you are describing, which I do, is move the guy to receive the pass. But this is what I'm talking about, moving the passer (from 2k12). In 2k16 you can't select the inbound passer, unless I'm just missing how. But I can't get his icon to be active to select him while he's the baseline passer.

Xbox1 control : simply RB to icon swap player to the passer (done in myleague offline).

Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
does anyone know how to set other lineups in myleague?
Right now my bench lineup has a PG at the 4 and a PF at the 2. I know that minutes set and the order they appear from top to bottom impacts the bench but is there a way to specify lineup? Like what if I wanted to set the tall, quick, 3pt, etc lineup before a game in the menus (not what pops up immediately before a game)? You use to be able to in previous games.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
hey everyone, im looking for advice on the best way to score as an inside center. im in a couple pro am leagues and i am one of the top dogs, but everyone wants to "run n gun" so i mostly score off pick n rolls or just diving to the rim. when we do slow it down and i post up, id grade myself at a B- in the post. i know all the moves, i got that down. but what i dont know is what situation to use which move in. My favorite one is if i have them deep in the paint ill do a post step back thats usually money. any other suggestions?Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
question. im working on an inside center, and my friend that has 3 people on his squad that are in top 100, say that they dont make big men and assign them any attribute bars to playmaking. they say it is useless, that from 0-20 bars, their is no difference. so i took my player to pro am, and i would get defensive boards and throw them down to half court with no problem, and i would get stripped about as often as i did with my other big man who has 18 bars on playmaking. what is your guys's oppinion?Comment
