Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I think the choice is clear.
Return to no blocks/blocks that sucked or praise the fact blocks are back in the game and look fantastic (even if a little OP).Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
This isn't an either/or situation. They need to add fouls. I don't think it's the biggest problem but it's still important and there's hardly anything more annoying than making a comeback against a cheeser, finding yourself on a fastbreak wide open with your star player, and getting blocked from behind.Originally posted by Dogslax41Most people that are asking for a simulation game don’t really want a simulation game because its too hard.Comment

Listening to devs, very little is an easy fix.
That would be annoying. What was even more annoying was playing a season with Ibaka and averaging less than a block per game because the controls and animations were so unresponsive.Comment

Please, for the love of God, leave blocks alone.
I honestly dread any upcoming patches.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I think the chase down blocks are ridiculous and need to be toned down but regular blocks in a half court setting are amazing.
I am locking down the paint against the superstar squads with Gobert in MyTeam!Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
Well they need to be consistent, if you're not gonna have foul calls for that they should turn down the amount of fouls called in the post when big men like Chris Andersen pump-fake or attempt a drive.Originally posted by Dogslax41Most people that are asking for a simulation game don’t really want a simulation game because its too hard.Comment

Honestly if chasedowns resulted in more fouls id be fine for the sake of not ruining things.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
This is the first year I think blocks are good in 2K. You get a realistic amount for the first time and they look great. I really don't see how this is an issue at all.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
It's not that, the problem is guys are blocking dunks with guys like Kyrie Irving, and every single big on the game has the blocking ability of Dikembe Mutombo.
Played the pelicans and got my dunk blocked from behind by Ryan Anderson, a guy that averages 0.3 block per game. Now had it been AD, I'm cool with that. But the problem with the game is that, regardless of ratings, apparently every big is a gifted shot blocker.Last edited by MadManCometh; 10-08-2015, 11:53 PM.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
In this roster editing is your friend. Its a pain but to get true sim you have to do it. Basically for non shot blockers like Rubio, just make his block attribute and block tendency 25. No blocks and he'll foul or better yet wont attempt the block... This is just against the cpu so i cant speak for online.

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
not to mention when you are wide open on a break and your player decides to some slow a** two foot gather
I shouldn't be swatting guys like Igoudala and Westbrook with CP3 and Curry....but I am
If given a choice, I'd prefer they leave they it alone. But, if they can balance them to were they are realistically without encouraging dunk/layup cheese then I'm all for it.
However, I'm pretty skeptical that they can get it just right.
2k13 had 0 blocks.
2k14 had auto block.
2k15 was pretty fair in regards to numbers....BUT it had those stupid force fields around dunkers/drivers that encouraged cheese.
2k16 is closer to 2k14 than it is 2k15. Step in the right direction, but still not totally there.Last edited by manu1433; 10-09-2015, 02:00 AM.Comment
