I didn't hear anything that I would constitute as new in that trailer, personally. Sounds like the same stuff we've had for the last couple of years.

Complete lack of any kind of official, promotional gameplay video hasn't helped. Almost feels like we've been led to purchase blindly this year or sold on features that already exist or have been part of previous games. Dream Team anyone?

Also the start today feature isnt new either, they do have a tendency to take things out and then put them back in and call it a new feature.

Im buying the game after all, but have to say Im a little concerned about the lack of gameplay vids we have seen. It might be that with the short cycle they are just to busy to put out the vids. My biggest worry is it does seem they have added a lot into the game and with a short development cycle it worries me that we might be getting a game full of bugs and glitches. I guess if thats the case, its my fault for buying so blindly, and giving them the benefit of doubt might not be all too smart. So any of us who buy it day1 really only have ourselves to blame if were unhappy, because its not like they havent pulled one over on us before.

I swear to god you people bitch about everything. Out of all the new stuff they added, you complain about SOMETHING that the trailer probably wasn't even trying to show? In what part was it talking about the actual spurs chant? I thought when they meant authentic arena sounds they were talking about more than just CROWD chants. You guys really need to get your priorities straight smh.

This isn't a trailer thread this was taken directly from the game if you saw the OP.

I posted videos from the game itself. ..and the sounds are by in large the same as last year

Nobody is complaining but some of you guys calling yourselves having something to say can't even get a grasp of what's going on.

I will say this about this topic. I'm pretty bummed the crowd atmosphere again appears to be lacking. Especially because they knew for years that it has been lacking. Then to hit us with a "All new ARENA sounds" trailer which they know insinuates the crowd may have been improved is a little disingenuous.

That's marketing though. And I'm still buying the game, i'll just be playing music in the background again this year.

If that's how it all plays out, I feel kinda bad for the devs who worked to do something new only to have marketing oversell and over promise. Then the actual work that got done is not appreciated and they catch hell as a creative/technical team.

The trailer explicitly says "authentic crowds" as a selling point. They can't come back and say that the crowd sounds weren't advertised as improved since that's exactly what the trailer said.
