Not that we would have won, but it's real convenient when your top sharpshooter gets disconnected 30 seconds into a game against the #3 team on the dayIt was just another typical event day on Xbox One. Every time 2K17 has a special event that encourages people to log onto the same game mode and play together at the same time it increases the amount of disconnections and the severity of the in-game lag. Today was no different than weeks 1 and 3 in that regard. We're now down to just one qualifying event remaining and so far 75% of the events have been marred by disconnections and in-game lag.I feel ya. We got bounced in the opening game after our PG got disconnected lol.
There was even a new "matrix" glitch that I encountered today where it put all 4 of my teammates into different 1 vs. 5 matches against the same team before giving everyone the same "problem" error message and crashing all five alternate universes simultaneously. And of course, 2K's awful win/loss recognition system gave our team a loss for that fiasco even though the error message text says that "this game will not be counted."

So TheWorld Esports games didn't add up correctly and they finished right outside of the top 3 when they should've been first. People have been tweeting 2k and the devs since last night and not one person has acknowledged the mess up. If they don't fix this then I truly give up on 2k lol. Their point total should be 8465. The last game they played finished a few mins before 5:00 so it definitely should've counted.
The tourney on Xbox side should be quite competitive when it starts. Most of the top teams have qualified except a select few that I think will get in next Saturday. Only weak squads I see is 2 Liive Crew, Baylor Bears, Vibrancy Gaming and maybe Stage Gods (never played them). My squad hasn't had a full 5 since week 2 of qualifying. This was an unbelievable half for me I couldn't miss at all. It even got to the point that after my first 18 the other guys stopped shooting and would just give me the ball and let me ISO and they were all randoms and none of us where talking. I thought I would have 70 by the end of the game and was on pace but late 3rd my man finally graded out and then his CPU became my conjoined twin so I finished with 52 of my teams 93 in a 40 point blow out win.
Ima a 6'8 250 SF Slasher btw and was playing SG that game.

This is as a 6'8 SF. My man was a 7'3 GC and I assume the other big man was too as I was PF so the C was probably just as big.
I out rebounded their whole team by 7

I refuse to EVER let a guy smaller than me out rebound me. Who ever was guarding you should be ashamed of himself. I mean come on now.... They had a 7'3 center and PF and you still managed to grab 24 rebounds. Good job my dude.Comment

At half time I had 15 and their whole team had 8 it was almost literally 2 to 1 and thanks a lot I don't get outreboned a lot even when I on 7'3 guys but I've never out rebounded them by more than 4-5 but this game I was just getting a lot of lucky bounces that sent the all my way.

Shoot me a PM to exchange PSN info, if there's anyone out there who would be interested in joining me and my PS4 friends as a walk-on tag along, or if you're able to be members of multiple Pro-AM teams.
There's a group of us (including me) who usually play, but we sometimes don't have 5, and just seeing if there's anyone out there who has space to occasionally play with us. We're not super serious, we want to have fun but we also hate losing...if that makes sense, haha. Sometimes we like messing around and sometimes we put on the try-hard hat. Depends on the score of the game lol.
We're a team that would be top 100 but the October drought killed momentum, and one of them just had a kid, so some of us rebooted and made a new one and we're climbing back up. The main players on the team have tons of different archetypes so you can just bring what's your most comfortable one.Comment
