If anyone is looking for a 96 overall 7'3 post scoring center, I'm available to play on most evenings and nights. I'm on PS4.

Anyone looking for a Defensive Big on XB1? I can't continue going through Walk On's with players that ballhog, go 1/12 and can't play even use a pick properly.

      Center
      Paint Protector
      7'1 & 282lbs

      • 90 Ovr currently
      • 14 Badges - (Working on Defensive Stopper currently, do have Pro Badge though)
      • Don't need touches, prefer to do the dirty work (boxout, screen, rebound, contest shots)
      • Do have a mic
      • Currently averaging 11/8/2 with random "teammates"

Hit me up here or on Xbox Live - II XS II is my gamertag (I'm Aussie but I'm flexible with hrs)

This drives me insane as a center. So many guys just charge into the paint and put up crappy shots with me playing solid defense, only for a phantom foul or the good ole "you didn't press a button but you're going to do this anyway" foul.

Still lookin for a squad? We have a 8 man squad that's pro. Mostly guards/wing players...we could use another big... if your still looking, we can (squad and you) run some walk on, and go from there.

Another one of my favorites is when you're posted up and playing your man without even being near the contest button but try to put your hands up and after pump fakes (sometimes it takes two or three times), your man will jump by himself instead of staying grounded like you want him too even after messing with settings. A major example of the not pressing a button but do it anyway system. Which leads to a "stay grounded" from your teammates when you have no control over this happening.

Maybe this happens often but I know I don't see it much if at all in reality. I also hate when you're trying to drive the lane and as soon as you go to drive in, you end up going into the defender in a bump animation and losing the ball. Let me drive in and miss the layup but at least give me a chance to try to draw the foul and don't give me a turnover for the sake of a turnover.

Simple question, I think, how many wins/what win ratio do you need to be to become a pro level team in Pro-Am? We currently have eight win and are still unable to customize jerseys and court. Is it based on getting to 10 wins, or is it based on some sort of a win ratio? Anyone who really knows the answer to this question please respond thank you

Pro is 10 Ws, no matter how many Ls.

But you can customise jerseys and court only once you get elite.

You can customize jerseys and court at pro, you can use custom logos and etc at elite.

                        NBA 2K18 Pro-Am League's

I think they should add a Pro-Am League to NBA 2K18. Just like how they are adding the e league I think they should make that available for the thousands of players who won't be chosen to play in that league. The way it could work is just like MyLeague online, you have one guy create a league (But the only way you can create a Pro-Am league is if you actually OWN a Pro-Am team). So as a owner it will automatically add whoever is signed to your team on the roster. So instead of inviting every player one by one you just invite a team owner and his roster will automatically join. Have it be up to 10 players on a team so there can be a bench. And also allow trades (most people probably wouldn't trade players but I could see this happening a couples times). Let there be an All-Star Game where the top rated players are chosen for the All-Star Team. Awards would also be a big thing, just imagine getting defensive player of the year or MVP. It would make playing Pro-Am actually worth it. Lets face it, the majority of 2K players won't make it to the Pro-Am tournament and this gives everybody a chance to actually play for a championship in the leagues that are created. Let there be highlights from games that was played on the menu of the Pro-Am league screen. If somebody drops 50 points let that pop up on the news ticker. It would give people something to compete for. Lot's of people say the bench system wouldn't work because nobody would sit on the bench but I've had times when we had more then 5 ppl online and we couldn't play together. I've seen people make Pro-Am leagues on NBA 2K16 and it was the best idea i've ever seen. They had to keep stats themselves for each game but imagine if we had these officials custom leagues and 2K could keep all the stats for us. Imagine your about to play a team and you could just check there record and stats to strategize and figure out who there star players are. Also, add plays and play art to Pro-Am that can REALLY show the players what to do and how to run the plays. Also a practice mode to practice these plays. It would make gameplay look so better if we had pro-am teams running official plays. Maybe even a create-a-play option (Just a thought). If you agree spread this out, reply or make it into an offical thread!!!

Love the idea itself, just want to add in that you can actually already call plays if you're the PG although the play art is a little confusing since it's the circles but hard to indicate where each particular player should go. I wondered at first if it were just if you were a player with CPU teammates but I was able to do this in a game with two other players.

To add onto it though, I'd like to see freelance offenses in Pro-Am. You can easily practice them yourselves and where to go but I feel this would be a bit more clear. I know some teams tend to run 5 out a bit on their own but it'd be nice to have indicators like you said and let us practice it in practice mode as well. Very cool thought though and I know a lot of people would enjoy this.

I knew they had plays already but thats why I said "plays that REALLY show the players what to do" glad you agree tho! But the main thing that really needs to be done is fix the gameplay mechanics and add better physics, because even plays done by yourself in a regular pick up game aren't that smooth. I've found myself playing straight up defense countless times (no going for steals or blocks) just having good position and my player just reaches when I didn't even click the steal button. Getting sucked into screens that I was clearly walking around, passes that fly over peoples heads when I'm a playmaker with a maxed out passing rating. I had many times when my player would be slowed down because there was a defender running behind me as if he was blatantly grabbing me to stop me from running and even sometimes I would be slowed down for no reason at all. Passes being slowed down to cater to the defense. This game needs some serious make overs in order to really reach its full potential and to be able to have good functioning Pro-Am Leagues or games period.

Yesterday my pro-am team (Los Padrinos, fyi) had only one bigman available, so I had to play PF with my 6'8" 220 lb point forward.

Obviously I didn't get as matchup a stretch 4 (the most common PF archtype in pro-am) but a glass cleaner in the 1st game and a post scorer (WTF?? 1st ever I met him in pro-am) in the 2nd game.

I did a pretty job in defending them (actually I had also more rebounds of the glass cleaner), but I couldn't do anything against the game winning post fade-away of the post scorer, despite my center came to help me in the final possession.

                              Man, I was so upset...

Don't be upset. Our team's post scorer is literally unstoppable with the array of moves he got from the post. He shoots close to 90%.
