I'm still playing the same MyLeague since the game was released.

I'm currently in the 19/20 playoffs and have really played any other video games in the past year, just TellTale's TWD Season 3 and that's it. I will be the first to admit that 2K has its share of problem, both on and off the court. However, for the most part, I get good, competitive games and I find the team building aspect really interesting so it has kept me entertained.

I always stop round this time...its like the second i start seeing news on the new version. Updates stop i pretty much shut it down.

Ah man. I remember when I got the Prelude for 2k17 and saw that you had to purchase dribble moves this year. Facepalmed for a good 10 seconds.

Very good topic idea. Here's my list :

1) The direction that 2k decided to take by focusing on my park and pro am...Whereas these two are, in my opinion, not good.

It's not acceptable that you have to tens of games against a boring IA to farm your character.

It's not acceptable that you have to grind like a ******* badges by doing stupid actions again and again.

And so..I don't think that a lot of people had the courage to farm several characters...when it's the goal of the game ! I want to be able to play a rebounder center, a stretch power forward, a def playmaker...but I won't lose that much time by farming a boring game.

Farming a character should be available by playing player vs player.


1.2) Keeping on MyPark. Which game doesn't have a matchmaking in 2017 ? I never understood the success of a mod who has less effective game time than waiting time.

1.3) Pro Am is definitively a cool idea but it gets so frustrating cause of gameplays exploitations. But I'll come back later on that.


2) The mode MyTeam could be one of the best games that ever existed.

2K is putting a lot of work in this but it's not worth this work since it's only a game where people snipe cards (do you buy 2K to play basket or play auctions ?!) to have a full diamond team and feel so strong.

Whereas it could so much better if they had put a points limit where each player is worth a sum of points. For example, you would have 500 points and michael jordan would be worth 100, shawn kemp 85, ramon sessions 35.

The games would be a lot more diversified and there would be a real fun strategy part in building your team.

A big regret for me on this one.


3) Finally and it's the bigger one since it's what for I'm buying 2k each year, it's the one to one or the play now online who's crappy as ****.

The sliders for shots change every three months. For example, at first, you could shoot easily 3s then you couldn't, then you could then now, you can't put nothing.

I don't even see the interests of setting grades on some parts of the games like the 3s, the fade away the hook since you will simply never score if you have less than 75.

What's for the range 40-75 ? Nothing

3.1) The jump blocks are dumb this year. Since you can't pump-fake anymore because players couldn't just learn to contest shots with the right stick. They took this functionnality off and...now it's a kangaroo contest where the feint isn't as efficient since a lot of players manage to counter when they're landing.

3.2) I'm sorry if i'm misleading here but each time I play against cavs or warriors, I feel like i'm playing against a script. My effiency at opens 3s just drops and all simples actions just become harder than they should be.

Same script that when I got an advantage of +20, I start to miss a lot of easy things.

3.3) I would like to play against others teams that warriors and cavs. I would like that there is a system who awards players for playing others teams.

I would like some rankings, some divisions, some titles, some cosmetic awards. Something to excite the online play now. No just the sad thing we got at the moment.

3.4) Just complete the classic teams. With the system of energy, some of them are just unplayable (hello jazz of 70s). I don't want to play with Smith.

3.5. The magnetic defense of the IA which encourages people to defense off ball and to abuse pick and roll.
