Can't add anything more than the perfect points raised in this thread, but I do want to say that 2K has been pretty terrible overall since last gen. 2K11 and 2K13 were just incredible.

2K is on a downward trajectory falling fast and 18 is my last go. If it's worse than 17 than I am officially done with NBA games it seems

The A.I is Awful. You can't get a good simulation out of the damn thing. Low rated shooters shooting stepback 3s, CPU can't defend the P&R to save it's life, Double team logic is in the toilet (Centers literally leave their man wide open in the paint to double team a guy on the perimeter.

This was a very ambitious title from 2K, Which is why i'm not burning them on the cross right now. I understand how hard it is to code artificial intelligence to make human like mistakes and have human like IQ (near impossible), but we had a much better A.I system in 2K14. Go back to that if needed, Which is probably not even possible because of all the modifications made to the engine over the course of 4 years.

The game was just unplayable if you were looking for a simulation experience. That's the main reason i had to stop playing. Just felt like i was going in circles trying to adjust sliders to get the game to play right.

One thing I also found funny this year is that Chris Smoove literally makes a living uploading 2K videos and even he didn't bother barely uploading it. In MyTeam he played for a couple of weeks and gave up. Now he's appearing in NBA Live's Demo LOL.

Says a lot for how poor this year was.

I will still be playing till Madden comes out...

I hate the fact that I studied all freelances and around 10 entire playbook all year and still lose by a noob 5out user, the person with the highest basketball IQ should win 90% of the time....

This game is to noob friendly.

I'm still playing it. MyGM is amazing, it's the franchise mode I want in every other sports video game.

I'm still playing every day. There are flaws but for me it is the best console sports game out there.

Love the game I hope they fix free agency cause I play with warriors and I gave my free agents super deals even though said extremely loyal they all left

PNO difficulty keeps changing weekly. ITs on easy mode today and no need to play when rondo cant be left wide open. I also cant play defense online because defenders are in mud when playing on ball.

Everyone i play in PNO lead passes to paint like crazy which ends in a dunking animation or making a contested shot

I hope defender movement is addressed for 2k18

Yall would but the community as a whole would revolt. They already claim its the same game, can you imagine not adding anything new?

This forum is a very low segment of those 10 million sales and they can't just cruise control it although I get what youre saying because we feel alot alike round these parts, but I also understand we arent everyone.

I do think they know how unhappy people were. Hopefully we get some actual good input from those community guys this week.

ITs not really about adding a bunch of news stuff because basketball is basketball and doesn't change. The main issue is fixing the current problems

Lol defending VC? Really? What's with the elitist attitude, 2K can do wrong, sorry buddy.

And you're right I knew as soon as the VC swamp came in with 2K13. I remember it like it was yesterday, I stared at the ground for a bit a little angry, because I knew it was the beginning of the end for me with 2K. Killed the immersion and love for the game. Still enjoyed 13, 14-15 for the most part, but it consistently grew worse and worse as did the VC. I remember they also had a phone app to make VC with during the day and it just felt childish. Constant adds for VC? Literally adjusting the game to cater to more opt to buy VC, harder to earn VC...it's all a pretty big turn off. 'buy wins'

It's gotten way worse each addition.
