Can't wait for the Twitter fan base to complain to 2K about missing wide open shots. We'll be back to last year patches in no time...

        Really?

I thought 2K17 saw a really big improvement in shot variation..

In fact, there was a thread on here named "bounce bounce swish" from the way the shots were falling....

I know green releases tend to be swishes but Im surprised to hear someone say this..

Side Note: Someone told me once that because a certain clip is putting the "spotlight" on a certain item(s) that I shouldn't make too much of what's going on in the video. Since this video is about "new commentators," any comments about the video should have been on them and rather than gameplay, player awareness, player position, and anything else that has nothing to do with the commentary. Anyways, unfortunately, I'm going to disregard that person's suggestion because these look to be full plays from a broadcast standpoint. Better perspective.

Tell me that I'm wrong and that's fine. I'm not a basketball guru at all. I don't know much about plays and what goes where, but I'm just going by what I see on live TV compared to what I see with NBA2k18 footage.

But some concerns I have from the video.
          (1) Player floor position awareness and the lack of "cheating" "anticipatory help" defense.
          (2) Isolation plays
          (3) Crossover dribble drives.

It's funny because going back to watch old videos of Kobe wearing #8 looks weird to me . I basically watched every game of KB24.

I was cool with Brons as well because he wore 6 in the Olympics multiple times and it just fit to me.

I just think the Celtics jersey and number 11 looks trash for Kyrie. #2, #10 or even #4 would've been fire. It's been multiple players that changed teams and numbers. So I didn't make my comment just because he changed numbers. But this jersey number convo has already gone on too long lol. It's not serious at all. I just wish he was able to get #2 if he wanted and the retired jersey number concept is silly to me.

To your concern with the crossover in trailer, the way it was done isn't the only way to do a crossover. You can be stationary and chain a crossover from other dribbles. There's several different ways.

Good to know. Are you able to get pass the defender with one explosive crossover confined, stationary move like what Reggie Jackson did without being bumped by the defender? Because I haven't seen that from any of the 2k17 videos.

EDIT: Crossovers are actually a minor concern, but the first and second (player awareness, floor awareness, situational awareness) are my main concerns that I don't see much if any improvement at all unfortunately.

I think it improved on 2K16, but still needed more variation. Especially on layups/any banked shots (including layups). Like MWilliams said, 99% of those shots are backboard, then nothing but net.

I do like how they added longer rebounds last year. But again, I'd like to see a little more of that and some longer bounces off the back of the rim.

the net physics are so realistic.

I did a quick run through when we first started this conversation..only 2 swishes of all these..

I dont know man, I just like to give credit where its due and I think they improved here..

                        Now layups...I'm not sure about..

Did anybody notice Wiggins has his braids in the trailer? They listened to us with all the cosmetic changes but we still haven't seen the clippers jersey fixed.the only thing it looks like its missing is the ball hitting the rim more on shots like the other NBA game

I thought 2K17 had good ball/rim physics on jump shots. I just wished there was more variation on the layups off the glass/bank shots.
