Re: New CAP system
I just don't understand they give so much customization in the game even in my career mode they introduce shirt customization etc but the one think that makes people vastly unique is player caps........they know this by now. I really really hope myplayer and the actual offline cap or draft class are vastly different. Myplayer you can get away with it a little as a lot will scan their fan but offline modes where dc are a huge part of it all and classic roster makers or even roster makes this is unacceptable if it stands how it looks.
I really can't stand the wait till next year's game feeling, 2k18 seemed to have nailed everything...now this. Kind of hoping that spot in the art video for myplayer is for just my player lol seriouslyLast edited by MarvellousOne; 09-08-2017, 06:58 AM.Comment

Re: New CAP system
Didn't someone at the event go into offline CAP? I thought I remembered there being a difference....

Re: New CAP system
i haven't downloaded the prelude yet, but is my understanding correct that there is no facial hair to choose from when you create your player? and no option to change skin tone? and no option to change heads (like in 2k17, when you could change lips, foreheads, ears etc)? it that a joke?Comment

Re: New CAP system
It seems to me in one the videos you could select difference preset heads with different skin tones then edit from there. Still unable to sculpt, but this may be one of those deals where it goes from bad news to REALLY bad news then back to the original bad news which doesn't feel so bad... I THINK that just made sense...Comment

Re: New CAP system
The way I feel about this whole CAP right now is that someone at 2K probably thought wow look at all these amazing rosters and draft classes they made with pretty close to realistic players, lets take a HUGE DUMP on these guys and give them a BARE CAP this coming year. I mean Cmon guys this is not a CAP at all even, this is a Select Your Preset Parts Player and run with itit saddens me that they went backwards in such a huge way. Still gonna love the game dont get me wrong but this definitely took a huge dump on me when it comes to making my Rosters this year. How am I suppose to create an even Decent realistic looking guy close to how he looks in real life without the tools we had Previous year.
So my Rating for the Prelude so far: Gameplay +9, CAP -9Comment

Re: New CAP system
brian mazique did, its the same thing minus the face scan option. all the haircuts are available from the barbershop. (im guessing that means facial hair too) not sure about skin tones and if its based off presets too offline.Comment

Re: New CAP system
I'm sure all you start with the pre sets, and everything is able to upgrade through the barbershop.
Now for offline, Those cant be the only skin tons or hairstyles obviously because a mode like MyGM/MyLeague, players would look too familiar very quicklyComment
