Man I swear it’s crazy. Holding LT and pushing up on the analog stick, hand all up in his face. Swish, swish, swish lol.

I literally had to check his 3 PT rating and when I saw 38 contested and 41 open I had to set the controller down for 2 minutes and breathe haha.

All star is too easy unfortunately, so looks like I’ll be going back up to SS and hoping for the best [emoji38]

Other than that, this definitely is the most sim basketball game I’ve ever played. It’s beautiful to watch in motion and I’m genuinely having fun. That damn AI shooting is going to be the death of me. Playing amazing defense and seeing somebody do a turn around fadeaway jumper at the buzzer with two hands in their face kills me

Gosen, I feel you man. But, have you adjusted your defensive settings? The reason I asked is because prior to me adjusting my defense Settings, the CPU was torching me. Now that I've turned off ACE and adjust my settings the CPU is typically around 37 to 55%.

Example: I held Bradley Beal to 5/19 shooting on SS last game. I was the Celtics and used a soft hedge scheme with my defender going over. Marcus smart shadowed Wall primarily and Beal secondary, so it's not like I had a lock down defender on him the whole game.

ACE is heavenly for the CPU, but if you are a SIM head playing on higher levels, I still think it's prudent to adjust all of your defensive settings before you start.

So try adjusting all of your defensive settings, turning off ACE, and utilizing straight up setting under your POE's. I think that'll change your results.

Edit: If you know how to dribble and play with Kyrie, it's basketball heaven. What a fun team to play with.

Definitely gonna take this advice, man! I’m a huge advocate of ACE so I never turned it off.

Hopefully this remedies the situation. 07 Warriors just beat me by 30 with the 04 Suns ..

I can’t make excuses for superstar difficulty anymore. The AI is cheap, plain and simple, at least when it comes to shooting.

Playing against the hornets, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrirst with his 41 3 PT rating just hit three contested corner threes in a row.

I’m talking hand in face, he does a stumbling animation when taking the shot, nothing but net swish shots from deep.

This is nonsense, and it’s happening with all kinds of horribly rated 3 point shot players. There’s no excuse for MKG to hit contested 3 point shots. I’m talking about smothering D, hand in the face 3 point shots.

Why? So the AI can stay in the game? I haven’t tried any other difficulty levels, but I’m so sick and tired of non shooting players making these fadeaway, contested hand in the face shots all the time, while I got Kyrie Irving missing wide open gimmes at the basket.

Might have to drop down to All Star because this is getting absolutely ridiculous

MKG isn't a completely terrible player if you actually watched him play. He has a had a few,big games. Well, very few lol

He's a slasher. He shouldn't be able to be knocking down threes with any consistency (especially with that garbage shooting form of his).

IMHO ACE is not working properly. It seems like it steps out at some point...

That's the reason why many of us are struggling. Even though at its full potential (AI adjustments) is incredible...

Hope they'll fix it soon...

I agree on 3pt% for the AI. Too much consistency even from non shooters

I am convinced that the online play will never be a priority. Shoes will always be more important than those servers.

Sometimes I chalk that up to a guy randomly having a good day. Sometimes these things happen. I would like to see a experiment to see if he does this in more than one game

Been away from 2k since 14. I can't seem to get the shot meter down to save my life and constantly find myself shooting in the 30's %. Any tips on shooting?
