I can't hit mid range jump shots with and this is with the boosts.... my contested mid Shot is 98 my open is 98 and movin is 96 and I have my jump shot down it's an quick one sec release and I still miss way to much... iv tryed ever game difficulty and there all the same when it comes to my game

Thought I would update everyone on my experience:

91 overall, have started to chip away at silver posterizer however, I can only dunk within 3-5 feet of basket. 6'4, Slashing Playmaker. I am able to get dunks off but very rarely can I get to within 5 feet without the bigs coming over to help. Mind you, in "mycourt" and pregame warmups, I am able to fly from the free throw line and dunk how I meant to. I still truly believe that I have some sort of glitch and wish I knew what to do at this point. I've put so much time into this player and he's meant to SLASH! Argh.

Check your tendency rating. You should be able to now see it under your attribute window from the minutes screen now that you're a 90+ OVR

Yea the badge thing sounds like it will work as for a jump shot I like the one I got it's a one sec release and I got it down thanks tho I didn't even think about how much the badges help

Would Slashing Playmakers please confirm their Driving Dunk Tendency?. You do this by going to your menu once you're in mycareer and if you are over a 90 overall, go to team and then influence trade, press triangle twice and then scroll right to T/DDUNK.


My driving dunk is a SAD 25, which is also the lowest driving dunk Tendency of any player on any roster, but alley-oop is 41 and flashy dunk is 42. What in the entire hell?!

I'll get some numbers from my homies who hit 90 OVR.

They are not Slashers or Slashing Playmakers but it can still be useful to know the numbers from build to build and see what stands out as odd or find any trends.

Posterizer ups doing contact dunks. This game counts dunks in traffic as contact dunks. It doesn't just specifically mean the poster animations. Anytime I dunk with a defender near me where I "touch" them, I get "contact dunk" in the grade box.

I'm as PG playmaking sharpshooter.

I can dunk in games on a fast break or going to the basket without any contact, you just have to be closer to the bucket when you jump.

I am a 6'6 SG 93 Overall Slashing Defender. Primary Defending, Seondary slashing.

My standing dunk tendency is 16
Driving Dunk Tendency is 74
Flashy Dunk Tendency is 42
Alley oop tendency is 62

This is for a 6ft8 240 SF Post Scoring Shot Creator

35 standing dunk
64 driving dunk
28 flashy dunk
50 alley oop dunk
41 putback dunk

This character doesn't have any struggles attempting a Driving Dunk in a clear path so even a rating of 64 is sufficient.
