I also brought up watching actual games lol.

Look man... the Sim community has been here much longer than these youtubers.

It's wild coming here and thinking most people here will join in on the wagon because we saw the beginning of the youtubers and we know them well, no blinders are on here.

Youtubers are not the authority on games. I saw Reddit users get a faster response from money hungry EA and Disney than a bunch of selfish online cheesers who many are upset because they didn't get picked by the NBA.

It's a failed campaign because if they aren't streaming, you better believe 2kSports has the REAL data showing who's playing and what, and how many of them.

Lastly, the guy talking about it doesn't happen in the NBA, he came here showing that he doesn't watch games making that statement and lost his credibility. Why? Because he'll lie to get his point across he wants someone to listen to him so badly... you cannot trust anyone like that.

Game is far from dead. The terrible pro am teams are gone for the most part now and the competition is better. Fine by me.

3 people standing directly under the basket under 7 feet, Jordan dunks on all 3 of them, **** you mean?

Also, the whole defense ratings don't matter really has to go. I know tons of people who put defense in their build and they don't use those characters.

Centers under 7'3 should have clear advantages over taller defenders. Guys around 6'3-6'1 need to have ABSOLUTELY a first step on everyone. There needs to be more separation from each player.
So you think slashers should be virtually unguardable on the drive!?! that would be good for the game LMAO I don't recall Jordan ever dunking over 3 defenders. Defensive stats do matter a great deal and centers under 7'3" do have significant advantages. It's just a matter of being good at the game and playing to your strengths

you said every guy thats under 6'4 should have a first step on everyone. but that aint realistic either. Lebron in his prime had a faster first step then probably steph curry. and bron is a lot taller and a lot larger. Durant at 7 feet has a mean first step and would destroy say dirk who is about the same height.

a guys first step is not predicated on his height or weight per se. its based on the TYPE of player he is. is this guy a super quick guy? or more of a super strong guy? every now and then you get a guy who's both like a lebron or Giannis.

truth is, he has a point and so do you but then there's other points to be made as well. the game is highly flawed. anyone saying any different is new to 2k or they love 2k so much they are not willing to admit the obvious flaws it has, or you like the flaws because you excel at the game due to the flaws.

Really tall bigs sitting at 7'3 and big as heck are too fast in this game. They get up and down the court too quickly for their size. Unless we're saying every big is wilt. if thats the case...fine. just make sure every SG is either prime jordan or prime kobe. and lets make sure every shooter is wet like curry and klay. on and on and on. basically the idea is, if you're going to OP one position or archetype. the only way to balance that out is to OP the others. now that may make for a fun game. but it still wont be realistic.

thats why i think you should have to severely train your guy to be what TYPE of player you want him to be. Not a situation where you use VC to boost attributes. Nope. You have to go to training and do the training in certain ways and end with certain results in order to boost certain attributes. but that wont happen because that will KILL the need for VC. can't have that now. its a business. lol.

and to be honest, the park has become so cheesy its not fun at all unless you're a part of the cheese boys. yeah i know, you can find ways to beat the cheese. thats not the point. it gets real boring watching a go thru his dribble routine praying he gets you in an ankle breaker animation

Compare a 7'3" rebounding athletic finisher to a 6'11" rebounding finisher and the 6'11" player has a significant stat advantage (like 20-30 in most cases) in multiple important categories including speed vertical, shooting off the dribble, ball control and passing, steals and lat quickness, driving lay ups and dunks and the contact dunk packages 1-3 while the big man gets like 1 or 2 extra points in standing dunk and blocks. I'm not downplaying the 4 inches in height but the extra stats make up for it. Is the 7'3" more dominant in the paint? Absolutely, but the 6'11" guy is much more versatile

People stopped playing this game because they’re just not good. Its that simple. If i had a hobby and was terrible at it, i would stop doing it. Find something that you’re good at and have an advantage over. I agree to some parts as why this game is dead especially park. Everyone judges the 71 overall noob and he will never find a game unless he waits 10 min or even longer.

Also the lack of matchmaking options make this game dull. Not being able to chat with other players around the playground unless you go to their name, profile, etc. which is nonsense for a game this age.

They should definitely have a first step on anyone over 6'6-7'3 absolutely. If Jose Calderon can STILL drive by defenders to the rim then, yes. I'm not advocating that everyone should be able to speed boost. But guards, PHYSICALLY should be faster than 95% of all wings. I'm not saying that I should be able to finish at the rim with whatever archetype, I DEFINITELY see tons of sharps and players without finishing CONSTANTLY finishing over taller defenders.

First two clips there's 3 defenders in the paint. No, they didn't contest simultaneously. But in 2k if I'm in a 1 on 1 contact dunk animation a sharp can come get a weak side contest THROUGH MY BODY and block me almost every time.

                              Not true

MyTeam is my favourite mode in 2k and I played 2k17 my team from November in 2016 all the way to the day I bought 2k18. This year I stopped playing in February because MyTeam supermax horribly exposes the huge flaws in the game's design that are only bearable in PNO (and Pack and Playoffs to an extent) or offline modes. People 5-outing and using their 98 rated diamond cards to poster dunk you during hip ride animations 9/10 times isn't fun, that's why the big you tubers don't post MyTeam content anymore.

I have a 80-10 record in PNO and a 160-15 (about there, +/- 2 games) record in Pack and Playoffs. With supermax being as bad as it is, I have no will to play 2k outside of the random PNO game or the 1-2 Pack and Playoff games before I turn it off. I don't even touch MyCareer anymore because of how far from the draft combine -> NBA team experience it departed from. That unskippable cutscene nonsense filled with ads for foot locker and gatorade is cancer.

i said this before the game release "i will never trust a online gamers (my career) opinion about this game. their issue is bcoz the game dont play in their favours all the time and still ask for more realistic game. i really do wonder if this people sit on a whole real NBA games.

P.S 2k is been around before this youtubers lets not act as if they will loose sales. and if they do then its better so they can go back and cater for the offline players.
