I made the exact same build, I thought he was awsome though, tons of badges. 6'9" 258 is what I went with... killed the prelude with him he was suspiciously hitting everything from DT haha but I get it's supposed to be easy. With Catch + Shoot, Corner Specialist, Deep Range Deadeye, Pick and Popper etc make up for the lower attributes. I went mid/low wingspan

He also gets some nice defensive badges like rim protector, pick dodger and pickpocket

Nope, actually with 1 inch less than default.

I went 6'11 265. The only i was surprised is that he had 70 speed at intial cap. I don't think silver badges r much of help but he does get nice set of badges which is exactly why i got lured into making him lol.

6'11 250lbs Two-Way Athletic Finisher has 74 speed at intial cap, looks like it's could max out near 80 with Vertical being a bit higher.
Anyone got the speed caps for taller builds?

I missed a bunch of news lately, but did 2K address the 7'3 max weight builds in 2k19? They were straight cheese in Pro-AM last year.

I made one and it definitely tanks your stats. I guess the question is will you feel the lowered speed and what not in an actual online game?

I'd like to recreate Kyle Kuzma and Boogie in MyCareer.

What builds do you think they are?

                I'm guessing:

                Kyle Kuzma: Sharpshooting Shot Creator??
                Boogie: Shot-creating Post scorer??

Yeah, this is what I want to know. These dudes were a lot faster and dominant in Pro Am last year.

Apparently a 7'3 Pure Stretch with max wingspan gets a 71 Open Shot 3 as an intial cap.

Probably going to go with a LLD/Slasher or Slasher/LDD. 6'6-6'7 220 at SG so I can defend the problematic positions at either the 1, 2, or 3.

Probably going to go with Defending primary, simply so I can negate someone else's takeover. That will be huge.

Wish I could restart the prelude, ugh

Guess I gotta wait another week for experimentation

Just make another account if you want to experiment with different builds. The Prelude is free to download, and it uses the same account switching method as 2K18 (click left stick in on the title screen to switch accounts).

From what I've seen on the badge comparisons, slashing defenders are better than two way slashers this year. I won't be making a two way slasher again, even though I loved mine in 2K18. Just make a post scoring slasher if you want the silver defensive badges since they have most of what a two-way slasher gets on defense, only with much better offense. Then if you don't care about offense aside from dunks and layups, the slashing defender is the way to go.

Two-way builds in general look like they're going to be trash again this year just based on the badges. Because if you go slasher primary, then you get most of the same defensive badges that a two-way gets. I don't agree with 2K's decision to make all slashers automatically good at defense. But that ratings/badge bias is back again for 2K19 just like it was setup last year.

I went with a 6'11" pure post scorer which got me a nice boost to athleticism, with a hopefully negligible hit to strength.

After a few Chinese league games it feels like he should be able to play 4/5 in pro am.

Hopefully I don't regret not going bigger. I'm tired of running max size glass cleaners the last two years.

The interesting thing is for Two Way Athletics/Slashing Rim Protectors it's the other way around, at C both get Gold Rim Protector and Defensive Stopper.
