I'm used to playing with PGs the most, so I was kind of worried about a 6'10" SF pure lock speed and quickness being lower. I guess you get used to it, but it just feels so sluggish lol

I guess it depends, I can give people a big cushion and still closeout because of my guys size. I have 91 lateral quickness and my speed will be 86 when maxed, that is with something like a 7'10 wingspan and 89 vert (max 90 something). Even if they beat me my guy has such a wide radius that I can recover and block the shot or force them to pass.

Also, in proam I'm shooting 43% from three with a 56 open three I take about 3-4 attempts a game, in park I'm shooting 50% from three.

Trust me the speed ain't an issue when you max it..

To put it in perspective you're only at a "disadvantage" with the ball in your hands. But if you got the right moves and know how to dribble even then you can create space...
That's why so many stretch bigs can get open...dudes just know the right animations.

My 6'4 pure shot creator is slower off ball than my 6'10 pure lock. So basically anyone besides slashers and playmakers are already slower...plus my max wingspan can bump you back if you drive into me..

My upgrade to a 90 for my C got me steals, blocks, strength. Actual helpful things and not ball handling and shooting. What a time!!!

Let me just say, I may have found *my* best build yet...at least in 19.

6'10 pure lock SF..I'm almost putting up 5x5 games every time. Offensively I pick my spots...backdoor cuts/lobs and 15 foot middies.

Defensively it's a wrap. I can switch on anything. A rolling big will get stripped and a shooting wing or PG is getting contested heavy.

All the tips and steals cause disruption, and I notice the offense is afraid of my whole side I patrol. I'm fast enough to help on a double down low and then run back out to my man to where hes forced to pass or pick up the ball.

Not only that, but it's fun. I'm visibly frustrated my matchups...and I'm not even a steal spammer. I just play d and force them to make their own mistakes.

It's helping my teammates, and yes this is randoms right now, get easy opportunities in transition. And off ball in focused on screens and moving the ball..pretty much forcing me into being a more complete teammate.

When you play in MyCareer in NBA games, does your teammate grade matter at all? I see people in some tutorial badge grinding videos with F grades. I always try to get the highest grade I can get, but it seems like I may be wasting time. Also, what about team chemistry? Any benefit to trying to build that up or is it just a waste and all i should be concerned about is grinding badges and getting XP?

Anyone have any experiences with a Shot Creating Defender PF?

I think this build could put in work on Defense and a little bit of mixing post scoring and shooting . I started a 6"11 one last night with a max wingspan and average weight.

Here are the stats and badges
Standing Layup, Driving Dunk, Standing Dunk and Shot close all around 80.
Mid range and 3pt ratings are gonna be around 65 except for like a 72 contested mid and a 72 Post Offense.
Here are some badges that can offset that though:
Silver
Mid Range Deadeye, Tireless Scorer, Difficult Shots, and Tear Dropper
Relentless Finisher, Hustle Rebounder, Putback King, and Posterizor.
Bronze
Catch and Shoot, Pick and Popper, Corner Specialist, Acrobat, Pick and Roller, and post up badges

All of this with around 80 Vertical, Strength, and Rebounding, Plus all the Gold Defensive badges.
First game I was jumping out the roof with untouched Vert, I was shocked. And I got takeover the first game.

This is my build! It's awesome. I went 6'11 too but with shorter arms and light weight version, so I can cover/play pretty much any position other than PG on offense. I'm averaging about 11 10 3 3 & 2 shooting 45% from deep in Rec. Everyone is always confused when they see my build - I just tell 'em i'm the 2018 KG. Only thing I ever have trouble with is the 7'3 290 Glass Cleaners, lol I went down to 220 so they kinda just toss me out of the way sometimes.

My C is finally badged out and I just have charge card left, which means I'm done grinding anything worth a damn

I gotta say, HOF bruiser is pretty freaking awesome, you can definitely notice the difference in how much your guy isn't as easily pushed around. But HOF rim protector is so nice, your dude makes blocks where he contorts his arms like OBJ

I just got to a 90 last night with my shot creator...it's crazy how noticeable the defense is vs my pure lock.

I was saying to my dudes like I just had the urge to dribble and score a little bit...but yo ..

I score as many points with my defender cuz of all the easy steals and clean up buckets lol

Just got to 90 as well last night. A shot creating post scorer PF is not a good build online lol but I'm already so far in I'll just make it work
