LMAOOO I skipped 2K18 after buying every game from 2K2 to 2K17, because 2K17 was not very good and 2K18 didnt even have a proper CAP system, and I gotta say 2K19 is the best offline basketball experience ive had since 2K11 probably

Do you really think people are impatient and don't want to grind? 2K made the grind 10x worse on purpose so people buy VC. I don't buy VC but I don't blame those who do although I wish they wouldn't. I blame 2K for being exploitative. IDK why anyone is cool with their online player leveling up at a snail's pace. FIFA is much more player friendly where you can grind and change position, height/weight, etc. at any time

I don't understand why all those people who stopped playing this game to go to Fortnite or Live, or just flat out don't like 2k or the game, keep coming around here.



I haven't played Call of Duty in probably 8 years, yet I'm not over on those boards trying to talk people out of buying it every year, going out of my way to tell them I'm not buying it, or to rip on people that do.



It's like some people get personally offended whenever they see someone is enjoying 2k and just not buying 2k is something Jesus personally told them to do so they feel they have to spread the word.

I honestly don't get what the uproar is from...some of these complainers sounds like bitter exes on OS and reddit. Bunch of "I aint buying it! Not from learning my lesson last year!" Its funny to me. All you see is whining and complaining in anything 2k related its almost a trend to be a whiner these days, wheres the real 2k heads at?When did playing a game and learning the ins and outs of a new game became such a taboo? The game literally came out not too long ago. Yea, I get the frustration with their background tuning and all that but that still doesnt warrant all these overreacting Imo. 2k is under a super sensitive microscope and any little thing they do will be picked apart, and I completely understand where its coming from due to last year's bs...but damn man some of yall need to get a grip lol.

Two things:

- MyCareer is an RPG mode. You play the game and improve your player from bad to good. Do you call every RPG a ‘grind’ pejoratively? Compared to many RPGs the time required for MyCareer is a pittance (except to get to the high 90s)

- The game is worth $60 for MyLeague/MyGM alone. The fact that there even is anything else in the game is an embarrassment of riches.

Just play the damn game lol. I never..ever have purchased VC. I always wind up with 2 or three builds in the 90s ovr. I don't get it..maybe I'm a dumb dumb, maybe I'm a naive sucker for buying this game..or...maybe I actually WANT to have to work hard to achieve things. I know..odd concept. Here's another odd concept for some of you folks that aren't happy.

The majority are playing..taking the good with the bad, realising that they can't actually make a better game themselves. Yes I do. The very first my player had the real grind in it. Combine, summer league..drills,the works.

You can take a guess why summer league was removed,and it wasn't due to 2kjust wanting it out

If they made My Player offline mode option and less grindy, I'd be happier. I didn't like when it became an online mode. Only modes I play are Myleague, MyGM and MyPlayer. I avoid the player mode lately though, because I find myself falling into the VC trap. Everyone else also hates grind and boosts to 85 because playing at a 60 rating is awful. That's one area I like about Live more. In "The One" you start as a capable player from the get go. Not a star, but good enough to feel useful at least.

I have been in hospital few days but plan on getting 2K19 soon and trying it out. I am predominantly a team builder type. I play MyLeague, scout, draft, trade, sign, sim... then I play elimination games in the playoffs.
