Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Made him a SF but I think in an online setting this will work better as a PF. 6’9, 235, default wingspan. Chose the lockdown takeover but could’ve been slasher or playmaker as well. Put nothing in his rebounding. 12 Finishing badges, 1 shooting, 7 playmaking, 25 Def/Reb
Just my two cents - A 6’9 PF with 64 rebounding will be hard to win with online. You will likely get out rebound by Pure Stretches.
If you’re an online person, then this could be a decent Draymond build.Comment

Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
These are all the first build and first physical profile with a SG, SF, and PF at default height, weight, and wingspan.
Att. Points: 439 436 433
SG SF PF
Close Shot: 95 95 95
Drive Layup: 95 93 87
Drive Dunk: 95 95 91
Stand Dunk: 67 81 95
Post Hook: 92 93 94
Midrange: 66 66 65
Three Pt: 52 51 50
Free Throw: 80 78 75
Post Fade: 85 85 85
Pass Acc: 78 76 74
Ball Handle: 83 73 64
Post Move: 89 90 90
Int. Def: 64 69 74
Per. Def: 76 71 66
Lat. Quick: 70 65 60

Off. Reb: 72 74 75
Def. Reb: 75 75 76
As you can see not only do guards get higher grades in nearly everything, especially in the things you need to make a guard, but they also get more points to spend on less categories.
For instance, a guard doesn’t need Standing Dunk, Interior Defense, Offensive Rebounding, or Defensive Rebounding. A PF needs all those things and a SF at least needs some points in them. But, on top of that, a guard could do away with any of the post scoring categories and save even more points or only upgrade those areas for MORE badges.
That’s 7 areas that guards only need to touch for badge purposes, but SF’s and PF’s need those to even get on the court.
So more points to spend and less areas that you need to spend them on. In this build, a guard gets 3 more points than a SF, 6 more than a PF, and 41 more than a center. In the next build a guard gets 8 more than a SF, 15 more than a PF, and 38 more than a center. This should be the opposite since SF-C require more areas to spend points in to even be adequate at their position.
If you think guards aren’t overpowered and SF-C aren’t underpowered, you must be making a guard!
There’s going to be a million 6’5 guards and maybe 1000 total people above 6’7”. And of those nearly every one of them will be a slasher or lockdown glass cleaner.
I wish everyone that makes a SF-C good luck! I’m making an OP 6’5” guard.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts as well. I'll probably still make a Hakeem type center, since deep hooks+Pro Touch was disgustingly effective in the Demo. But I also never play Park. If I did, I would definitely only show up with a 6'5 guard. The SG Two way slashing playmaker build's only real weakness is 72 shooting, but with 5 or 6 shooting badge points, you can negate that with gold catch and shoot plus corner specialist. It's so OP
Add to that the double boosts you can get now, one for weekly practices and one from the boost shack.
Now that 72 shooting goes to about 81. Problems solved. Lol SMH.

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I’m not sure that I understand you’re point, but sure.
However there are plenty of power forwards that do handle the ball and quite effectively. And there are plenty of badges hidden behind the playmaking attributes that are used by and needed for power forwards.

Bigs don’t need driving dunk, driving layup, pass accuracy, ball handling, lateral quickness or perimeter defense, and on top of that they’re just way easier to use on the game than guards.

Point guard ran the offense.
Shooting guards scored.
Small forwards were the jack of trades and master of none.
Power forwards rebounded.
Centers protected the paint.Comment

Bigs need pass accuracy because you get doubled after 6 points. They also need driving layup if they operate in the pick and roll. I don’t think I’ve made a single lightly contested driving layup in the demo.Comment
