Point guards are scoring machines depending on the build. PFs and Centers can be deadly from 3pt. SFs are pretty useless which is why Ronnie 2K tweeted about buffing them. Post Scorers have to be one dimensional since they are spread across three play styles.

I wouldn’t have a problem if positions were tied to a traditional role, but guards clearly get a huge boost if they are 6’5 or shorter.

      Ummm, I have to disagree.
Both with your assessment of 90’s basketball and with how the game currently is.
Currently in the game, both guards can create hall of fame players and other than two builds any other position is a role player.
Like I said before if you, or anyone, can show me a SF-C that has 75 or better on everything or even 70, I’ll stop talking about it.
Currently almost every guard build can do that in almost any of the categories.

Honestly had so much fun with my 7’2 behemoth.

Max wing span and then throw hof hooks all day.
I havent had a contest over 30% in the demo [emoji1787]

lol ya'll act like bigs get shafted when for the past 4 years, 7'3 centers have been the only position in the entire game that can step into pro-am and get 20 and 15 with absolutely no points put into their character. Or play in mycareer and get 60 and 30 playing brain dead..

I think the CPU defense is better this year, but you likely can still do that. However, it does not change the fact that guards were buffed, bigs (particularly Post Scorers) were nerfed and SFs are useless.

2K has always had issues with balancing height and athleticism. Bigs have felt OP because 2K has issues with player movement and speed.

Another couple of point forwardish builds, both giving you the triple takeover playmaker/slasher/shot creator.

Did anybody manage to get 4 takeover?

Are there any badges etc ...

That’ll make an even more effective pull up 3 point shooter on the break ?

                      Difficult Shots/Range Extender/Deadeye/Quick Draw

Those would be the best badges for that

i disagree with the part i bolded

If you play rec/pro-am maybe you can get away with not taking perimeter defense.

but if your a park player and not taking perimeter defense thats a bad move especially the way this game works now. and what i mean by this is all the new badges you can get this year like quick first step etc etc not to mention the new shooting badges and the new introduced playstyles for dribbling. Their is to much pick and roll and switching played in park to just ignore it

most centers are getting smoked this year on defense... the only ones that might even stand a chance to a degree may be defensive big men who have clamps badge on gold or HOF and are not so tall/heavy and even then... they are still big men and will probably still get smoked. so ignoring perimeter defense when you are already at big disadvantage might be something to think over

Just so y'all know, setting your console in italian (and I assume other languages from countries using the metric system) unlocks an extra level of customization through height.

That's the same player at 6'7" on the left, which is 201cm, and at 200cm on the right, about 6'6" + 3/4, which the game converts to 6'6" but has different +/- on the attributes compared to the actual 6'6", which gets (accurately) converted to 198cm.

Not a big difference, but someone might be interested in reaching some attribute thresholds not available with the imperial system.
