Next question. For example, if I’m at 25 points in the 3rd and the entire other team quits....and the forfeit and the game ends.

Do still get my 25 points accounted for ?

It looks like it doesn’t ?

well the game did not finish so its not recorded.

just like when you quit you get nothing but a L.

but i could be wrong.

its why i stick around agains squads.

just to waste their time, get my rep,vc and badge progress.

That sucks. If I’m on the winning team and everyone else on the losing team quits, I should still credit for what I did for those three quarters....instead of just getting a win.

You get the w/l, you get badge progression and overall progression for sure

I am not sure about VC/rep though

You get everything if under a 95. If you are a 95+ you HAVE to see the counter raise your overall.

You get credit for the points I had the same thing happen to me and my scoring dropped from 17 to 16.9 when the other team quit in the first

Its a forfeit.

One team is awarded a win the other is awarded a loss.

Basically the score could be 1-0 final score in the books lol

So basically your stats could take a hit except the w/l.

Playing solo i only had it a few times so thats as much as i know

Did the latest Xbox One patch fix the "closing the app" method of preventing your overall rating from dropping during a lost rec/pro am game?

Or is there some special technique involved for when/how you close the app?

I hate that I can't just walk into rec by myself and play a game with randoms without fear of losing 0.5 to my overall rating just because our casual team of pickup players got matched up with an all elite squad.

That has never worked on the PS4. You can do this to avoid wasting a boost though.

Ok ok.


So basically no pre-game indicator, dashboarding and re-searching is pointless.


Feel the first few minutes out, if you see teamball and basketball iq, play within those boundaries the best you can.

After the first few minutes you see your butt is about to get handed to you on a platter, go get your numbers .....

No science bro. Iv played on teams that on paper should’ve sucked but ended up good

And Iv been on teams where it was obviously 4 ppl in a party who were really good but just froze me out and we ended up losing because they didn’t discover me until the 4th and then i get a message because i don’t go 5/5 from 3 and bring us back by myself.



Yesterday i was on my shooting Glock and was 1/1 until 3 mins in the 4th then made like 3 3s in a row and tied it up. On the last 2 possessions i missed my shots wide open and lost us the game. Immediately got messages saying i should’ve passed, and how trash i was lol One even said “see that’s why we weren’t passing you the ball”

My rec report so far:

Matchmaking is utterly stupid and broken and makes the game unplayable. If i have to enter a game with a defeated mindset just to rationalize why i won’t have fun there is a problem with your game, period. Iv never jumped in a Call of Duty game or a Red Dead game already accepting that i will most likely either lose or not have any fun.

Matchmaking makes park rep useless. What is the benefit of getting to elite 3? The fact that you rep up by playing a lot and not by showing skill is an issue. There are too many high rep ppl that just aren’t good. When i rep up with other ppl with my rep i should feel confident I’m about to play a good game but that’s not how 2k works now.


Rec is filled with too many bigs who don’t pass after rebounds, and too many squads running zone. Needing separate refs for squads is a must. 2k has to listen to fans because we’ve been saying that for a while

Ran 3 rec games in a row where i was obviously the odd man out in groups of 4 and was ignored to that point I had to quit 2 games in a row because ppl simply wouldnt pass to me unles sthey had to. In both cases the team ignoring me directly led to us going down 20 before half.




edit: You basically have to do looking for group post now.

This is one of the worse 2ks of all time due to matchmaking and lack of segregation of squads and actual randoms
