Yes I’m for real. You’re here trying to start childish console wars. Freezing or turning off consoles are both bad. I’ve been on topic but for some reason you feel the need to add to the console wars by saying slick comments. Like I said before if you have nothing productive to add to this thread just leave. You’re constantly trying to troll and makes console comparisons instead of offering something fruitful to the thread. We’re all here because we want a solution to this game. What excuses am I making? I’m here hoping this gets fix. What’s your objective? To start an argument or to continue trolling?

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status has said the same thing now for a week. This is a joke. My XSX is perfectly fine. No issues. But 2 members of my ProAm team get kicked 1 minute into every rec and ProAm game so we literally can't do anything with our team. Is Microsoft just stalling because they don't want to say "hey it's a hardware failure" and have to deal with a massive amount of warranty claims and not enough supply to fill the claims? Doing this to have them trickle in instead of all at once.... I have no idea but they haven't said a single word besides tweeting that it was fixed then deleting that. Then copy/pasting the same tweet about it being fixed then tweeting that they were looking into fixing it lmao.

After 4 days of trying, I was finally able to finish the draft combine and now MyCareer is playable again.

Only for me to enter the practice facility and my system immediately shut down again! At least this time I am not stuck in a repetitive circle of being stuck in the draft combine.

After 4 days of trying, I was finally able to finish the draft combine and now MyCareer is playable again.

my old xsx... shutoff every 1-2 games on an indoor court (any online mode). and often just being in the city alone walking around would cause it.


my new replaced xsx they sent me yesterday... not 1 shutoff at all. have been grinding any mode i want ALLLLL day today. my old "broken" xsx would have shutoff maybe 15-20x today alone.


so, i feel my issue is fixed.

Yes. Completely random, finally able to finish the draft combine. The crashes are not gone though. They still happen, I just am not trapped in the Combine anymore.

Anyone with a hardware knowledge knows it was a hardware issue to begin with, just some die hard xbox fans can't accept the truth. The only way to fix a hardware issue is to ask for a new Xbox Series X from Microsoft. No amount of software updates can fix a defective series x console.

I literally work in game dev. This is not how this works. Please stop pretending an issue happening with only a handful of software ever on a device is a hardware problem. A hardware limitation? Sure. There's certain processes that the XSX can do better than PS5, and vice versa. Clearly PS5 work in a way that lends itself better to dodging crashes (though clearly not enough to prevent crashes entirely either).

Just because some hardware can deal with poorly optimized software and some can't doesn't mean the software isn't poorly optimized and still the ultimate cause of the crashes. Much more demanding games (but more optimized, not releasing on a tight deadline every year) run on Xbox Series X just fine.
