Does anybody have suggestions for Diamond Allstar Blake Griffin? I am thinking about putting catch and shoot and corner specialist to help him spread the defense out a little bit. But I am not sure if I should go with defensive stopper instead.

Re: Badging Thread
I would put all three of those on him, as well as Rim Protector as no-brainer must-haves.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Any ideas on how to badge ruby draymond? Comes with no badges so only 4 slots. This is what I'm thinking:
1. Defensive stopper
2. Rim protector
3. Catch and shoot
4. ??
I will mainly be using him during crunch times to get key defensive stops or when I wanna play switch all defense for a few mins. Do you guys think corner specialist is worth the last slot if I'm already giving him catch and shoot?
His steal rating is already very high so I don't think pick pocket is needed.
Kind of tempted to give him one man fast break for the times he does get the rebound and I can just run the break with him.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
I sniped like crazy this week to get one of my favorite players, and last night I won a bid on Diamond Anthony Davis. 5 of his 6 extra badge slots are full:
Catch & Shoot
Mid-Range Deadeye
Corner Specialist
Post Spin Technician
Relentless Finisher
I'm deciding between three badges for the last slot. What do you guys think?
Dimer
Pick Pocket

Re: Badging Thread
Stupid question, but is strength the attribute that most determines the success of a drop step, or is it some other attribute?End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: Badging Thread
That would make sense. I've seen others say that the defender's lateral quickness and low post defense IQ also likely play a role. I just wasn't sure if the drop step was considered a power or a speed move from the offensive player's perspective. AD's post control is excellent, so maybe I should look at adding drop stepper. I'm just not sure that would be more valuable than Pick Pocket or Dimer.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: Badging Thread
You need a player with high strength to use drop step effectively. You get easy dunks if you can back defenders down and drop step close to the rim.

Regardless, I don't think strength is the determining att. Pick Pocket would be very useful. Dropsteps are so OP that I'd have a hard time not picking that one.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
With Dimer, you have to ask yourself how often you're going to pass with him. When I pass to my bigs, that's usually the last pass of the possession (post moves are incredibly OP), so Dimer would be of no use to me.

Re: Badging Thread
Drop-Step would be totally logical on AD. Dimer is logical on anyone.
And I think Pick Pocket makes a hell of a lot of sense. If you run him at 5, one of the most effective ways he can defend against post-up play is by stripping the ball.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
This decision gets harder and harder haha. The reason why I didn't have drop stepper on my original list is that I haven't used that move a lot. I prefer post spins, hooks and fades.. If it really is tied to strength, I'm less inclined to put it on a AD. You make great points about pick pocket. I guess it all depends on whether I think I'll have more opportunities to steal with him or more opportunities to kick out to a shooter out of double teams or offensive rebounds.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup
