Pick Dodger, PnR Maestro, and Dimer would be my choices.

      Re: Badging Thread

I have an Amethyst Kobe that I sniped awhile back fully badged, but it's not badged the exact way I want. I'm hoping to get one with a good diamond shoe that I can customize how I want. What 6 badges should I add? My options are below...

      Defensive Stopper
      Pick Pocket
      Pick Dodger
      Acrobat
      Catch & Shoot
      Corner Specialist
      Dimer
      P&R Maestro
      Bruiser
Post Spin Technician (is this a good idea since he has low post control?)
      End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

if secondary/primary ballhandler? PnR Maestro otherwise take Pick Pocket

He is my secondary ball handler on my second unit, so I'll go with that. Thanks for the advice! I had a good idea what I wanted, but I was trying to decide between Pick Pocket, Acrobat and Bruiser for the last spot. You think acrobat will have the biggest impact for a guy like Kobe?

Acrobat is almost mandatory for a slasher. It activates so much that I'm pretty sure it's the best scoring badge for inside play.

                    Considering Adding
                    Catch and Shoot
                    Pick Dodger
                    Defensive Stopper

                    Pick and Roll Maestro
                    Relentless Finisher
                    Dimer
                    Tear Dropper
                    One Man Fast Break
                    Rim Protector (85 block rating)
                    Deep Range Deadeye

I think Catch and Shoot, Defensive Stopper, and Relentless Finisher are must adds. After that, I'm less sure. Any thoughts?
I agree on those first three:

                    1. Catch & Shoot
                    2. Defensive Stopper
                    3. Relentless Finisher

                    Then, I think:

                    4. Pick & Roll Maestro
                    5. Dimer

After that, I think a bunch of other badges are somewhat compelling. Like Pick Dodger, of course. But Rim Protector makes a lot of sense if you're concerned about post-up guards and also defending slashing finishes at the rim.

I'd probably go with Rim Protector. But I would also consider Pick Dodger and even Brick Wall. He has 78 Strength and that might make for some stiff screens. Not just off-ball stuff, but also even just running an unexpected 1-2 P&R.

Wondering why you & Swish both have Relentless Finisher as a must-have for Thompson. Does it do more than conserve energy on contact shot near the rim, as in does it affect the efficiency of the shot itself? Its seems that even if you take a lot of contact shots with him, his 98 Stamina should suffice unless you want to play him for 12+ minutes. So I wonder if Relentless Finisher impacts more than just the energy.

Also, I agree with Catch&Shoot, D-Specialist, PNR Maestro, and Dimer as must-haves for him. I really like OMFB as well since he has the athleticism to go coast-to-coast on the break.

The anecdotal consensus is that it buffs completion rates. Not just MyTeam guys, but also MyPlayer guys. Overwhelmingly. So I've stopped wondering and just taken leap of faith that this is correct.

Otherwise I agree with your thoughts.

Gotcha, makes sense. I've seen it activate on clean driving layups before which was kind of strange. Guess it's a must have and combined with Amethyst Tireless Scorer it really makes him a slashing monster.

Does anyone know if Relentless Finisher affect lob finishing ability? I've had some players miss wide-open to semi-contested lobs that their real life counterparts would have no problem finishing.

I agree with harryl here. I think it allows more completions during contact shots. And even if it's just the stamina portion, that can be useful. If you play a guy 10 minutes and then try to do a dribble move and drive his turbo bar is going to be really low very quickly. It never hurts to have extra stamina.
