Re: Badging Thread
Id say generally acro is the better badge for anything layup related and difficult shots is better for moving shots. But there is likely some over lap.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
I've also seen it light up on euro steps and floaters too. Not every time though which is weird. I feel like sometimes you get 3 or 4 badges popping off at once and it doesn't always show you them.

Another thing that bothers me is that tear dropper often pops up on my bigs when they make just regular layups. It makes me think I should put Tear Dropper on my Mchale as his final badge slot instead of Dimer.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
My World B. Free's HOF difficult shots pops up on literally half of his dunks, especially some of the more crazy ones. I've seen it come up for dunks on other players too, albeit more rarely.

Re: Badging Thread
If you're talking about DeAndre, mine is fully badged except for one slot and I'm torn between those exact two badges lol. I'll probably go with difficult shots just because I bought this man to dunk, not lay it up. I'm just hesitant because I've NEVER used a big with difficult shots before. I may pick up a sapphire deandre and test it out him first, see if I can get it to pop up. If not, then tear dropper.Last edited by jschmib; 05-08-2017, 02:43 AM.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
I've put Tireless, Relentless, Acrobat, Post Spin and Dimer so far. Love this card he's fast as hell and will finish literally any lob.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Nice, yea man he's a beast gets so many rebounds and if he's got position it's two automatically. I was going to put Postspin but tried it a couple times without the badge and couldn't really pull it off, can he pull it off with the badge? I guess it depends on the defender too.Comment

Re: Badging Thread
Here's a "throwback" in terms of being a Historic player as well as a card that first came into the game quite a while ago. But with re-release of TBT teams, and the fact that the Historic Diamond Rewards have now been surpassed by a considerable number of packable, economic Diamonds, the collection reward Diamonds are way more affordable than before.
And if you have an attachment to any of these guys, it's not too hard to rationalize their cost. I should have sold off the entire Historic Warriors collection before re-issue, but since the collection is now worth relatively little, I bought back the two rubies I had sold off and will lock in for Diamond Timmy Hardaway...
Player: Diamond Tim Hardaway
Comes With:- Corner Specialist
- Ankle Breaker
- Dimer
- Lob City Passer
- P&R Maestro
- Pick Pocket
Open Slots: 6
Prospective Badges to Add:- Defensive Stopper: Mandatory
- Acrobat: Mandatory
- Relentless Finisher: Would be mandatory if he came with more badges, but since he only comes with 6, some hard decisions have to be made and, since he doesn't dunk, I question adding Relentless just for the times it'll fire for contact layups.
- Rim Protector: One I try to add to everyone with room. But Timmy's so bad at defending post-ups (6'0", 82 Shot Contest, and 40 Low Post DIQ, albeit 70 Strength)
- Flashy Passer: Would be mandatory for a PG, but maybe there are more pressing needs. Maybe. He does have 85 Flashy Pass Tendency.
- Pick Dodger: Another would-be, but lack of slots and I wonder how effective this is in the first place.
- Catch & Shoot: Normally I want this on everyone who can shoot jump shots, period.
- Difficult Shots: I think he's probably going to be mostly shooting jumpers off the dribble (or wide open catch and shoot), or making layups that might trigger this, so this is a no-brainer for Timmy I think.
- Mid-Range Deadeye: Goes hand-in-hand with the moving midrange Difficult Shots game.
- Teardropper: This always feels like a waste for anyone with limited slots but it's probably an essential weapon for Timmy and he has 96 Floater Tendency.
- Hustle Rebounder: Can't rationalize this, but he does have 63 Crash Tendency.
Probably Go With:- Defensive Stopper
- Acrobat
- Difficult Shots
- Teardropper
- Mid-Range Deadeye
- Flashy Passer
But I'll probably leave the last 2 or 3 off and open for debate as I get a feel for him. See how much space he creates with his animations and, also, how quick his release is.Comment
