I’m going team-by-team so expect to see only 4-6 teams in the first one with updates every couple weeks for new teams. Docs will be linked in the OP.
Thanks a lot. This will be extremely helpful

I'm not trying to be a pest, I'm really not but could you possibly post your coach profiles for each team and there help defense rating? I just want to get as accurate as possible on my personal roster and I know you put massive time into getting things right.

Unfortunately the Help Defense slider in Coach Profiles isn't editable in the roster file. I won't get to that setting until I finish all teams/players and set up a MyLeague file to share.

From my early testing, the slider has more to do with switching on screens than actual help defense and rotations. I'll need to spend more time in MyLeague to give valuable feedback though.

I'd suggest checking out one of the roster project threads from last year and porting the same values over for now.

Re: 2K19: Return of The Sim Roster

I'm going to upload the first beta version (v0.1) of the roster/sliders on X1 tonight.

Here are the teams that will be edited in v0.1: MIL, DEN, HOU, GSW

It's still early enough in play testing to expect changes in the future, but this is a great base to play games with in Play Now. Looking forward to hearing gameplay feedback since everyone plays the game with a different style/skill.

I'll also try to get some more streams up as teams get added.

I will give it a try tonight when I get home. Looking forward to it! Do you have a list of what was modified? (Tendencies, playbooks, player attribute ratings, hot zones, coaching profiles, sig shots, etc?)

              Thanks!

Roster and Sliders have been posted under the filename "ReturnOfSim-v0.1"

I'll be around to answer questions tomorrow, but the information has been added to the original post.

Ive just given the Rockets a long roadtest. I really like what I see.

                    1. You were able to get their pick and roll game more consistent than I did. The major differences in our rosters was the playbook itself, and your playtypes for Harden/CP included both PnR point/wing but I only had them as pnr ball handler. Is it the playbook or the play types which got the better result?

2.Im curious why you have the Rox running plays at 5 but Golden State 100.

                    3. Why were the individual transition pull up 3s for Houston so low? Harden was 1 but Curry 50.

                      1. Most of the difference comes from the Play Types. Even then, I'm really disappointed at the play calling for HOU because of the base Series (Point) that they run which puts the ball in Capela's hands almost every possession until the first substitution. The Playbook was also edited to create more 15/51 P&R action and double screens at the top of the key.

                      2. I obviously didn't QA that before going to sleep. I was doing play testing of the base Series execution yesterday and forgot to flip them back. I'll update the file today and re-upload, but please set the DEN value back to 100. They will play completely different at 100.

                      3. Harden should still occasionally pull up from 3 with his high 3PT tendency, but his default "mode" is to attack the basket in transition. I'd consider bumping up to 5/10, but have found that the Mid/3PT Pullup tendencies become overpowered for players with a high Mid/3PT shot tendency. Anything over 10 combined with a 60+ Mid/3PT and that's all the player will do in transition is look to pull up.

Gave these a quick run this morning. Warriors (user) VS Rockets (CPU). I did not use your sliders. However, the game played light years better than the default rosters.

I am really looking forward to your full roster this year!

Is this based off of Simworld, vannwolfhawk, or a hybrid of both?

Thank you for all you do for this community!

Give it a try with their run plays at 100. I just ran the first quarter and saw that entry pass to capela a lot less.

I was a bit curious about your drive tendencies also. Harden was 40. Giannis is 75. I would have thought harden should be higher but it plays really well.
