    I played a game against the Grizzlies this weekend, and Ja Morant had 8(!!) dunks. So I wouldn’t increase Dunk Tendency from my brief experience with these.

            Thanks man! Yea you can always do Real % instead of timing. I’m just going back to timing this year because 2K added a Shot Timing Impact slider, so we don’t have to deal with “green or miss” BS [emoji1305]

                The next hurdle is balancing contested shots. This the nba we can’t always search for a open shot. A lot of defenders in the vicinity affect the release of the shot too much. I understand if a defender hand is up or doing a hard close out. But if I raise up and the defense the jump. I shouldn’t be shooting some bs fall away shot so much.

But don't worry, there's always a workaround. And that workaround is to increase Game Speed (which drastically improves the overall look and feel of the game anyway, IMO). From there, we just need to make a few more tweaks to compensate for the higher Game Speed and we're in business.

                    So through a half of basketball of testing. I’ve come to the realization that the shot timing impact slider is why the cpu shoots so poorly on default 50. No matter if you play on real% or user timing, the CPU always uses shot timing.

                    I suspect this was the case for 2K21 as well but we just didn’t have a slider for it. You can see it in some of the shot animations for poorly timed shots. The CPU who time poorly much too often leading to bad shooting percentages.

                    So long story short… I thing that you should 0 out the shot timing impact slider and then adjust shooting sliders from there if needed. I’ll do more testing, but honestly it’s pretty clear the effect this slider has in the game.

                      especially since 2k21, I like your slider sets very much.

                      I‘ve used your slider basis set and wanted to share my impressions on 12 Min Quarters:
                      - too much scoring for User
                      - FG too high for user, especially while it is very easy to attack the basket
                      - contested Jump Shots have a very low success rate for both, user and CPU
                      - too many inside attempts and field goals by CPU and User (around 40 attempts with over 75% success)
                      - too many PIP for User and CPU (around 70)
                      - compared to you, I‘ve adjusted dunking abilities and frequencies to 40 (user and CPU) which led to a good result
                      - also adjusted 3pt frequency to 70 for CPU, still not enough attempts (ca 30)
                      - literally no attempts from mid range from CPU

                      Everything else was great, I justed wanted to point out what felt not right, to share it with you.
                      Now I tried to adress the items mentioned above with some adjustments and will get back to you, when tested.

                        Thanks for the feedback! Yea, the current set only touches animations, movement, and nerfed the overly-sticky on-ball defense of the CPU. Tendencies and shot success need a complete overhaul, so no surprise with the issues you pointed out.

                            I've noticed this as well...with one caveat: I use Real% shooting.

                            It seems to me if any jump shot is contested, it's a sure miss. And the inverse is true as well...any open jump shot is likely to go in.

                            Sure, certain players who aren't good jump shooters will still miss open shots, but overall it's very much a problem I think. There is a slider for that, so I guess it's time to mess with it and see what can be done to improve things.

                              My first game the field goal percentages felt a little unrealistically high. So I made it more challenging for myself and made them a little harder. Second game I tried to get mid range shots, a couple of my key players got in foul trouble and I played behind the whole game but never could get in any kind of flow like my first game. My third I didn't have flow but my team became streaky. Some of the same plays worked everytime...most all of them did. And I was hitting 3s at will. But for life of me this game does not want or care about the mid range game. People would be right inside the three after a screen and recieve the ball and just kinda float behind the 3. Anyway I am using real % but Iam hitting a lot so I'll tweak that again.

                                I was having some really good results until I got into a streak of winning against lower standing teams by outrageous margins. Was about to go tweak some stuff but had an amazing back and forth game against the Pelicans. Both teams had near 30+ Attempts from three with a realistic percentage of makes. All other stats were even. I’m finding some very good games against teams that are playing well, but the bottom feeder teams I am winning by way too many points. Gotta find a tweak to make those weak teams competitive.

                                Overall the sliders are still awesome. No three games are the same!
