    Slow to say the least.
    So 64-66 game speed?
60-66, depending on the day and how you like your game to look/feel. I use 64 for now but that will change randomly as it always does with 2K lol

2K BROKE THE AI DEFENSE, AGAIN! SLIDER TEST - 12/9 UPDATE

Surprise, surprise, it seems 2K have once again BROKEN the AI defending (on ball, help, and PnR defense all effected). I'm rushing out a few quick test sliders for you guys to try out and let me know if it helps make the defense less braindead. These are being posted separate from the v0.4 slider set because I fully expect 2K to fix this issue (hopefully ASAP) and don't want to drastically alter my base sliders in response.

So, use the v0.4 sliders and then add these tweaks on top to HOPEFULLY improve the defense back to playable levels.

        Offense
        Body-Up Sensitivity - 75

        Defense
        Help Defense Strength - 100

        Attributes
        Acceleration - 30/40
        Ball Handling - 40/50
        On-Ball Defense - 45/60
        Lateral Quickness - 15/100

        Tendencies
        Contest Shots - 100/100

        Fouls
        Shooting Fouls - 100/70

        Movement
Speed without Ball (Max) - 70
Speed without Ball (Min) - 35/40
Acceleration without Ball (Max) - 70
Acceleration without Ball (Min) - 35/40

These tweaks have also been added under a separate section in the OP. Please give them a try and let me know if this improves the horrid defense we're seeing after 2K's latest updates.

Re: NBA 2K22 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic NG Slider Set

          Hello!

I'm testing this play since you had a nice description :-) and I was dominating CPU at All-Stars Level (with Orlando Magic). I'm playing full season(s), and I must say this is a big difference from default sets. What I found har id general FG%. I'm running a lot of plays that opens my shooters (3P-Mid Range) but man, it's really hard to score. I ended up on 72PTS which is probably the lowest score for some seasons now.

          PROS
          - Game just feels more fluid and natural
          - There are some nice posters from time to time
          - No more annoying alley's

          CONS
          - Game was bit too fast for me (38yrs now, getting old) so I reduced it to 55
          - Score. It's hard to score. I'm not sure why, Mid is 55, 3 is 50 but it's just hard. Maybe because game speed messed up my brain muscles for releasing the shot with certain players

Question: How to find a nice balance between -> impossible to score if shot was contested and hell yeah, I'm wide open and I deserve popcorn-green window time?

Thank you, I will keep playing with this one it has a lot of good things!

Thanks for trying out the set! Scoring shouldn’t be too hard, but since you said “Maybe because game speed messed up my brain muscles for releasing the shot with certain players” I’m guessing you are using User Timing instead of Real Player %?

My shot success sliders are made for Real Player % and will definitely make it hard to score if you’re using User Timing. My recommendation would be to try out Real Player %, or if you’re dead set on User Timing then you’ll have to experiment a bit with the shot success sliders.

I know in years past when I used User Timing that Mid-Range Shot Success was always around 57-58 and 3pt Shot Success was around 61-65. Maybe give those a try and raise/lower as needed [emoji1303]

When playing with real fg% , what factors into to someone making or missing a shot?

The last player’s shot ratings, how contested the shot is, how hot/cold the player is, everything that would normally affect a shot except for the timing.

It’s an easy fix thankfully, just increase or decrease the CPU 3pt shot success slider [emoji1305]

I mean attempts. It’s like they always force their way to the paint.

                          Hey,

I did more "tests". CPU is just brutal. It was very cold over the weekend, few games, room temperature was like -40 :-(

I wanted to have more matches but really, I'm struggling to score anything and CPU is on 60-65% FG. Played against Bulls 97-98 and MJ just killed me (I can live with that). Other games were against low-mid teams. Still CPU went beserk and I was shooting 25-30%. So I made a few tweaks to make user timing shooting possible with this set.

                          User
                          -Shot Coverage Impact 60
                          -Shot Timing Impact 40

Another thing caught my eye. CPU steals were shooting trough the roof. So I reduces that a bit as well.

What I like the most is -> movements, game is so so much fluid and when CPU attacks basket with slasher it often looks awesome! Luckily I haven't played against Ja yet!

So you left the Shot Success sliders as I have them in the OP and just tweaked those two settings to get decent results with User Timing? Good to know if so!
