1.Make fastbreak realistic, it only happens 5 or 10 time irl in a game not every time someone misses
2.Make defense tuff, now there are too much dunksituations.
3.Fix steals, now are there too many steals.
4.Make a better create a player mode. You should be able to choose more hairstyles. At least 50 or more. What a sure wanna see is that you can say how much someone weights. At that method you have directly the right bodyweight.
5.Make a better create a team-mode. Why not one team where you can adjust everything : what kind of court, color from the paint, teamlogo, color teamshirt etcetera...
6.Commentary is really bad, too much always the same. Go steal steve kerr, he is the best :-) If he speaks it's seems he is really on the court
7.Player intro's should be nice
8.And better courts. You should be able to see the planks. And the planks had to be the right size, not the small ones like at this year's game.

I'm a huge 2k fan. And I've learned that it's the little things that make a game for me. I'm not gonna bitch and complain about the game, because I play it 24/7 and wouldn't dare play Live. But I would like to see obviously some introductions at the beginning of games, and if not full introductions instead of highlighting one player at the beginning of a game highlight all the key players and even the coaches and their game style. Please add some more accessories in CAP! During timeouts or even when players go to the freethrow line they should do a cutscene to the commentators and show them talking like in a real NBA game. It would be nice to somehow get to choose almost like in Wrestling Games of recent, what broadcast you would like: TNT or ESPN. And during half-time they would have Stuart Scott and Jon Barry Ect for ESPN, and Charles, Kenny, and Ernie for TNT. Just some little things I've thought of while playing. LOL! None of em will probably be in NBA 2k10, but I'll be playin 24/7 regardless! :wink:Comment

signature introductions such as shaq bowling and all the pre game jazz. Work on the courts please the celtics court is way off and very blurry. Make more realistic crouds ie thunder are always sold out in the game. Have more croud chants. There is not even a team specific chant in this game. Have warmups and have like a 5 minute practice before the game cause i always suck in the first minute or two and lose big timeComment

Mile High Fatigue: Players in the NBA have noted that when they play at the Pepsi Center, home of the Denver Nuggets, the altitude causes them to get tired and lose their wind more than in other NBA arenas. Lowering your User Stamina slider when playing the Nuggets in Denver would achieve this effect.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Player Progression Suggestion
There are two tiers of attributes:
Skill Attributes (Shooting, Rebounding, Awareness, Defense, Passing, etc)
Physical Attributes (Dunks, Speed, Strength, Quickness, Vertical, Durability, Stamina, etc)
Only skill attributes should increase.
Depending on the player's position, certain attributes should get a bigger boost than the others (PGs increase passing, SG shooting, PF rebounding, etc)
A 99 potential should only be reserved for rookies (high potential rookies). So a player like Derek Rose may see his OVR rating increase by 5 his soph season, and maybe by 3 his 3rd season, by 1-2, 4th, up until he reaches age 30.
A lower potential player with a potential rating of 80, would see his OVR increase by maybe 2, with the progression getting lower each following year.
Once a player reaches 30, his potential should be 50, and thus starts the decline (physical attributes). Skills don't have to necessarily decrease, but lacking the physical attributes will make him worse anyway, so it balances out.
I haven't figured out player decline, so if anyone has suggestions, let me know.
Player retirement
There should be an addendum to the player values, such as his career satisfaction. SOme want to have a strong legacy statistically, others want rings, and some will play until they can't anymore.Comment

Regarding Stealing:
Please call more reach in fouls, so that players get penalized for constantly running around trying to strip everyone. My player should not be sucked into a slowdown animation when someone is reaching from behind which allows the defensive player time to recover. Players should be penalized for being out of position, not rewarded for it.
Fix the automatic strip after reaching in for layups. It shouldn't happen everytime I go to the hole, nor should it go off of my player's leg everytime out of bounds.Comment

A few random notes
1. A team is only allowed to sideline inbound the ball into the BACKCOURT in the LAST 2 mins of a given quarter, or it is a backcourt violation. This is not the case in 2K9. Just a heads up that it be fixed come 2K10
2. Please allow us to hold the R-Trigger and press the pass button to ROLL the ball inbound so time won't tick off of the clock. I am sure this would have made it to College Hoops 2K9 but we know what happened with that. This would help with end of game situations when inbounding the ball from the far endline.
3. Is it me or do ALL of the free throws in this game go in all net? Maybe some new rim physics for free throws. I could be wrong but I don't remember seeing any free throws NOT go in all net
4. Maybe some alley oops that aren't dunks? Layups, bring those back please
5. Direct Pass oops. If I want to throw an oop to Iggy (who is on the right wing cutting to the basket) with Dre Miller (who is on the left wing with the ball) it is somewhat difficult to properly align the directional pad to Iggy so that he recieves the oop. Why not add Direct Pass Oops? LB ---> B ---> LT+Pass. This is long overdueConcrete evidence/videos pleaseComment

Not sure if it was covered, but here's my idea to revamp the aspect of being a General Manager in Association. Being a GM in association is extremely dry, basic and unrealistic. Think about it, the computer makes silly offers when you put players on the trade block and they put great players on the trade block for no reason off the bat. It's a cartoon and should be fixed, and here's what I would do:
Each player in 2K10 will have an "Availability" Rating. These ratings will be shown with a Star Rating.. Availability will determine if a General Manager is willing to trade his player or not. Here's how it will scale out, the asterisks are stars:
* = Untouchable, we will not trade this player.
** = Not available, but we'll listen to the right offer.
*** = Available for now, but anything can change.
**** = Available, but we are not in a rush to trade this player.
***** = Completely available, we want to trade this player.
So there's basically 5 levels of a player being available, with fractions (1/4, 1/2, 3/4) being used to minimally separate availability on each level. You will be able to choose your players availability rating for your teams before and during the season. However, also be aware that players availability can be influenced only by unhappiness. If a player is unhappy with his spot on the team, then his availability level will rise because his agent will want to see him on a new team.
Now say a player, lets use Michael Redd of the Milwaukee Bucks, has a 5-Star availability rating. The Bucks have made him completely available and want to trade him. Once he is made available, you can go to the trade market to see what exactly the Bucks want for Michael Redd. There are 3 necessities by the General Manager for this:
1. We want to trade this player to make our team better.
2. We want to trade this player for financial relief.
3. We want to trade this player to build for the future with younger players or draft picks.
Milwaukee has decided to pick option #2 for Michael Redd. Now you must come up with trades that will save the Milwaukee Bucks money. And determining on how much financial relief you can bring to them, there interest will reach near it's maximum and they will trade you Michael Redd. The same thing applies to when you want to pursue a 3-Team Deal. The players that are coming over from the 3rd team must fit the description of not only team taking them back but the team sending them out. This will make it realistically harder to pull off 3-team deals. Now, this is where I offer 2 expiring or short-term deals to Milwaukee in exchange for Michael Redd and maybe another player who's available to make salaries match. I submit the trade to Milwaukee.
However, trades will not automatically be accepted. Once you submit a trade, the team will decide upon your trade for a day or so and send you an email to your 2K Sidekick. The email will tell you if the trade appealed to their needs, whether they would like you add a particular player or draft pick along with a package, or whether they did not like your trade at all. If a trade happens to be accepted, then it will take a day or two for the players involved to take physicals for their new team, so the trade can be made official. During this time, you will not be allowed to play these players, but they will be on your roster.
