Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
Of course I'll buy 2K10. As long as it's good, I don't care if it's shown 3 months before release or 2 days before release. My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
The people "complaining" are not the people just looking at covers, and you know it. I am not talking about casual gamers."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, dudes can't get past my past
How they supposed to deal with my perfect present?"Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
The majority of peopele who are going to buy nba 2k10 aren't on this message board. There not going to buy 2k because of slick marketing, their going to buy it because of how great 2k9 was in their opinion. 2k can afford not market as heavily because they have an amazing track record of good basketball games. ea has shown they have definitely tried to improve their game, but who cares? The only way i'll purchase live 10 is if it's better than 2k10, and based on ea's track record, it won't be.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
Most of the sim gamers are going to go for which ever game best represents nba basketball so they are naturally going to seek out as much info as they can than blindly choose a title off name alone, but they still will have a preference towards which game they want based off last years results of what they played.Comment

I wasn't calling you a complainer..sorry if it sounded that way."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
Look at how poeple here (including me) making a fuss of 2K10, if it's gonna be like this or like that, what it's gonna look/play like etc. etc.. If 2K can create this fuss with "no advertising" (actually THIS IS the advertising strategy), then that's all they need.
The question is: Does OS reflect the masses? Well, that's for 2K to find out...Last edited by youvalss; 09-06-2009, 03:24 PM.My Specs:

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
So why do we complain about marketing when we know if 2k10 shows us everything we want in a basketball sim gameplay vid we'll all jumpship right back to 2k but constantly complain about the marketing every year.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 from a skeptics POV
Thats a big if my man considering we haven't seen anything. We can only hope. And I do hope 2k10 is a true basketball sim with precise player control/movement.."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life

I don't think too many games could compete under those types of circumstances.
I think they could bury their comp if they took on this attitude especially with all the annoying fanboys every game has.
Because we all know fanboys take up a lot of the internet soldier population just check out any site beside OS.Comment
