Does the game import rookies with the intention of stopping you?

I'm a 7'5" C and I'm noticing in my 2nd year that at least 3 teams have new rookie C's that are 7'3"+. Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this type of thing?

im not a center but after the first year there were a few cpu generate scrubs at the C or PF position who were all 7'+ tall...

as far as i can remember these teams have at least one:
-detroit
-cleveland
-golden state
-minnesota

Cool. Those teams plus Philly all had them. Must just be a positional thing then.

very much so but in my mode spencer hawes was still a starter for the 76ers lol

Just got injured again. Twisted Ankle. I did not see it happen. I might just sim it till healthy, 82 games is a alot.

what is your durability?

probably should just bump that up to 99 now rather than later because injuries occur a lot in this game

70. I have so many other key attributes Im trying to boost. Durability I might bump up to at least a 85 after my other attributes

Sometimes I actually wish I can get injured so I can sim some games without having the guilt of me being lazy.

MyPlayer is so frustrating. I was absolutely delighted to be drafted to the Heat, I though I could get a chip in my first year easy, and playing would be so fun, I could just be ooping all day to the Big 3. How wrong was I. First game, blown out by the Celtics. Fair enough, pretty realistic, the team has a low chemistry. Second game, beaten by the 76ers, should really be beating them but hey, whatever. Third game, we blow out NJ, good to get the first win. This has been on Superstar (heard HOF is BS) so far. We then go on a seven game skid including a blow out by NJ AT HOME.
I am tired of Lebron's play. This is his team no doubt. Wade isn't even Robin in this team. Lebron gets about 50% of total plays called for him. When he calls for a screen about 75% he won't even use it properly, he'll just shoot a contested three. Guy is a complete ball hog.
Some of the posting up in this mode is absolutely ridiculous. We're on defense and I think we're playing the Jazz. Ball gets passed to Luke Ridnour. He starts POSTING UP LEBRON in the high post. YES THAT's RIGHT. LUKE FRICKIN' RIDNOUR. Even backing him down a bit! He nails it like he was Kobe or something.

Mike Miller won't even do the things he was brought to Miami to do. Passes up on wide open jumpers.

I've been on All-Star simulation for the past few games. Should I change the difficulty again? It's not like the computer is playing that much smarter than my team. In the blowout to the nets at home, Travis Outlaw went into Kobe mode and was like "F this" and just started knocking down contested threes like they were nothing. I've requested a trade. If I'm gonna on a losing team I'M going to be the star of that losing team and I'M going to be the offense. I'm done being a witness to the Lebron "I'mma shine first" show

On a positive note I'm getting quite a lot of rebounds for my height 6 ft. Even got eight in one game. My vertical is only 40 lol.

I recently made the switch from simulation to default and haven't looked back! Now my team consistantly scores 90+ points and I don't have to score as often as I should on sim.

Try a game on pro and one on all-star. See what you like best... I'm still switching between the two.

I got NBA 2K11 a week ago and want to start myplayer, but I have 2 questions:

1. Is myplayer affected by sliders or is it enough to change between "custom" or "simulation" in the myplayer menu?

2. I would like to wait for the final version of Rashidis (the real 2k insider) roster but I don't if it's worth the time considering that you use only one player and that there are a lot of changes (trades, coaches fired) in the other teams in myplayer mode.

Any help?

the major complaint in this mode is the lack of sliders(like the ones you see in association mode)...my player mode have preset ''sliders" in which you can either choose from default or that of simulation(supposedly simulation is more realistic but as of recent, people are saying it is in fact a harsher setting since shooting percentages are lower than if you chose default)...

playing at a higher difficulty setting doesnt compensate for the lower AI for your teammates...so if you do decide to play this mode...all-star/default is the best setting in my opinion

there has been huge complaints about coaches being fired before the patch of this game...the patch supposedly fixed that issue and i havent seen a lot of questions raised regarding this matter as of late...

trades seem to still happen(realistic or not)...in the past, i've heard people say that franchise players such as paul pierce and dirk nowitzki were traded by the other teams...recently, someone experienced the knicks trading away amar'e stoudemire....
