Rolling with the Bulls. I'm 7 games into the season, 4-3. Some teams have been tougher than I expected (Knicks), some easier than I expected (Celtics). Overall, the new Association mode runs pretty smooth and is a lot of fun. I'm a little disappointed with the CPU trade offers. I've gotten some pretty stupid offers that any real NBA GM would be embarrassed to offer (Tim Duncan and George Hill for Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer?).

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Long story short, I got the game last Friday but have only managed to play two games, both in the Association I started with my home state New Jersey Nets.

I'm playing on the default difficulty level, the updated 10/13 2K rosters and 9 minute quarters. So far I'm 1-1 having lost a tight game to the Pistons where Rip Hamilton and Jason Maxiell had their way with me.

In game 2 I was leading most of the way but the Kings took me to OT and I managed to hold on there thanks to 19 points and 12 boards from Lopez, 11 points and 6 assists from Devin Harris. I'm still getting used to the controls and the fact that Lopez and Harris are my only two consistent offensive threats. I found that in the second game Terrence Williams played solid off the bench and in crunch time the CPU left him in the game (I allow auto subs) because he was playing well so I found that a nice touch.

I am really enjoying the game and like that I have to really work on defense. I held Tyreke Evans in check but Carl Landry and their PG Udrich alternated dominating me in the first and second half. The Nets are going to be tough and the Heat visit town next game.

I have a Jazz association going on, I refuse to play it anymore untill I find a fix (or I buy the NTSC edition) for the dodgy courts!

After starting ones with various teams...I've decided on the Bobcats. I just love the make up of the team and the coach has always been my favorite since the Sixers days of Iverson ruling the league.

Does anybody know when the official rosters will be made? I want ALL rookies and players thats supposed to be in the game in my assocation.

            Chairman's Kings Association: 3-4

Wow! After my wonderful road win v the Lakers, I travelled back east for another road game and got SPANKED by Memphis!!

it was UGLY! Just one of those games where you cannot stop them, and I can't get ANYTHING to drop! My plays wouldn't work... Seems they had at least five AND 1s, where they'd get fouled going up, and the ball would roll or bounce around and fall in...

Rudy Gay absolutely PWNED me!! He had four monsterous dunks and
ended up with like 37 pts, 6 assists, 5 rebs and some steals. Just a sick night. I could NOT stop him! Gasol patrolled the middle like Bill Russell too, keeping the lane closed.

It was one of those games where when I got into the 4th quarter, I was just waiting for it to end. I got my A%$ kicked, and I loved it!

              1. The ABA ball is awesome
              2. Could be because of the emotional win in LA and then having to travel to Memphis. Was it a back to back? Those are the worst.

              Some nice pics too

THanks! I'm not afraid to post pics of me getting posterized!

I wondered that too! Does the Association mode take into account multiple on-the-road games? Would certainly make sense to me. Heck, I'll just assume it does cause the proof is in the pudding.

I rocked it vs. the Lakers, then stunk it up the next game (both were road) against Memphis. quod erat demonstradum...

He drains them? He's in your house holding the controller? He isn't shooting, you are.

through 7 games of the Grizzlies I am 4-3. Rudy Gay & OJ Mayo are my stars Gay's avg. 21.4 and 6.1 rebounds. Mayo is 17.1 points. Michael Conley has been the perfect PG I like he's 12 and 8. Zach Randolph has chipped in for 16.3 and 13.6. Gonna update every 7 games. Controlling all 30 teams, 82 game season going to play every other game.

It a possibility. I beat the Lakers in a first of back to back but then got spanked by the Nets the next night.

I am currently 17-19 but with a good stretch coming up. Got games against the Kings, T'Wolves, Raptors, Suns, and Bobcats. Could go on a little run and make my way over .500

well i started one with the wizards and played a few games to see my weak and strong points. after loosin to the magic and the hawks iam weak at the small foward and center postion both on defense and offense. i traded sean marks, kevin seraphin, martin cartier and my 2011 first round pick to the celtics for kendrick perkins and thier first round pick so that made my bench better and my startin lineup stronger because now i have mcgee on the bench with kendrick startin.

                              9 wins - 1 loss - All Star/Default Difficulty - 12 min quarters

Put a spanking on the Spurs last night with my Bulls. Rose put up 40 points and 16 assists to lead the Bulls to a 119-103 victory. Korver, Boozer and Brewer caught fire as well. We were down in the first quarter, because Duncan was unstoppable. He was killing us from the post and midrange shots, even when double teamed. The 2nd half took a turn once I pulled Boozer off of him and let Noah guard him. Noah's pressure d caused issues for Mr. Fundamentals. And my whole squad caught fire in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Once Duncan was shut down, Ginobli and Parker tried to take over, but Rose shut down Parker in the lanes and the 3-2 defense denied Ginobli his outside shot.

Next game is tonight in Dallas against the Mavericks. So far we're 2-0 in our Texas swing.

Practice plays with Brewer... it'll pay off. He puts a high arc on his shot so you really have to release the stick once he's getting to the highest point. Dude is deadly and is a threat in the lane as well. This is basically what I do with my Bulls offense:

Rose: midrange shots/ inside lane shots/ iso to create for others
                                Brewer: 3pt/midrange/inside (run plays)
                                Dang : 3pt/midrange (run plays)
                                Boozer: Midrange/post/ rebound beast
                                Noah: Rebound beast

When Korver comes in, it's strictly outside... dude can't drive for ish... unless the lane is empty.
