To be fair, IRL Young's defense has improved. It's the reason he's seeing the court this year. He always had the offense, but he's playing because his defense is better. 2K doesn't reflect this.

But it's up to you man. I had a Wizards Association and Young can drop 40+ at any time. Rashard can have those games when he hits 6+ 3s. You would lose a lot of backcourt depth. I see what you're saying with your roster though...you have a good defensive team, but I would imagine some bad scoring droughts. You don't have a good frontcourt scorer and Rashard can do that for you.

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

1st game was a 110-99 victory over the Trail Blazers. I was down 78-68 at one point in the third quarter, but then went on a 6-0 run to end the quarter. After, we got hot in the 4th and scored 36 points while holding them to 21, with Bayless accumulating 15 points in the 4th.

      Notable stats:
Bayless: 35pts 9 Ast 5 Stl 6 To and 11-17 FG while going 11-13 from the line
      DeRozan: 21pts 9 Reb 9-13 FG
      Barbosa: 21 pts 6 Ast 4-6 3pt
      Bargnani: 13 pts 9 reb 5-10 FG
      Davis: 9 pts 15 Reb 3-9 FG

I need to work on being more efficient with Davis and getting Barg more involved in the offense. I really love Barbosa from beyond the arc and Bayless' speed and closing ability allows him to drive and either bring it in or draw the foul a good amount of the time. I never really felt I had to force anything with DeRozan and only took easy shots when they came, leading to his amazing efficiency in the game. I realize the mismatch i have with him though in a lot of situations considering how much speed he has compared to most SFs. I also need to work on scoring with my bench players, seeing as the leading scorer off the bench was Klieza with 4, and Speights had 0 on 0-2 shooting.

I haven't played a full 82 game season since 2k3, but after I run a few more scrimmage games with the Knicks, and get familiar with a handful of plays, I'll get my association going.

The Thunder offered a trade to the Heat which had Pat Riley thinking for a few minutes.

              Kevin Durant

              for

              Wade
              Bosh

The Heat turned them away. It actually made little sense for them.

I'm running with the bulls and currently 41-14. Interesting stats I have come up with on my team is when our opponents score more then 90 points we are 4-12. So its all about defense, because of course like the real bulls not enough scoring power on the team. I have two loses when its under 90 and both are to the lakers. Both games in the mid 80's and neck to neck until the end.

                  Knicks Franchise

Currently 35-29. 2nd in Division behind Celtics, 5th in Conference behind Magic, Bulls, Celtics, Heat, and Hawks. Both Amare Stoudamire (23.4 ppg, 9.3 rpg) and Raymond Felton (18.2 ppg, 7.4 apg, 3.3 rpg) made the All-Star game. Traded for Carmelo Anthony and Sheldon Williams before the deadline giving up Anthony Randolph, Wilson Chandler, & Eddy Curry. The team looked sound after the deadline but I'm only 2-7 since the All-star game, almost all loses against Western Conf teams which show the level that they really play at. Also lost to the Heat by 4 points in a game that I dominated through 3 quarters. Frustration is starting to set in as I went for 4th to 6th in the conference, hopefully things will get better..... except I got Dallas next, oh boy!

                  Current Lineup:
PG - Raymond Felton, Toney Douglas
SG - Landry Fields, Kelenna Azubuike
SF - Carmelo Anthony, Kelenna Azubuike, Shawne Williams
PF - Amare Stoudamire (hurt), Sheldon Williams, Shawne Williams
C - Ronny Turiaf, Timofey Mozgov

                  Injured :
                  Danilo Gallinari (2-4 weeks)

Re: How's Your Association Going? (2K11)

Currently 20 games into the season with the Blazers, we are tied for 7th in the West with a 10-10 record. I just brought Roy back into my rotation (Trying to manage his morale is just too annoying lol). So since Roy is back I had a log jam at the 2.

So I ended up trading Rudy Fernandez to San Antonio for a pissed off George Hill. Hill was irritated so I figured I'd take advantage and bring him here to Portland. Hill is going to be my backup PG for now.

My plans for the future are to trade Andre Miller and probably Camby at the deadline and then move Hill to the starting PG position.

                      My rotation looks like this:

                      Miller/Hill/Mills
                      Roy/Matthews
                      Batum/Cunningham
                      Aldridge/Cunningham
                      Camby/Przybilla/Oden (When he returns)

I have been working a lot with Cunningham trying to turn him into a SF. He's been doing a lot of dribbling drills and shooting drills.

At the deadline I hope to get some bigmen and maybe a backup at the PG position.

I just lost Durant for 2 weeks with a back injury 2 min into my game against the Hawks. I was devastated when he went down as it looked really bad. It didn't really matter as LeBron and Love made up for the loss. It ended up being my biggest win of the year. 121-91. The rookies and Korver took over his minutes. I don't think I will miss him all that much.

Glad you turned it down, I wouldn't trade either one of them by themselves for Durant myself, since Wade is a better player and Bosh is our only really talented big guy.
