Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I was wondering if either of these trades is realistic and wanted to make sure before I decide what to do. Also keep in mind that we're about 2 weeks from the trade deadline and both the Hornets and Grizzlies are somewhere around the 8th playoff spot. I can't remember exactly.
Wizards (me) get: Xavier Henry, Zach Randolph
Grizzlies get: Gilbert Arenas, Yi Jianlian
The Wizards are obviously doing it to clear cap space and they get a prospect. It doesn't make as much sense for the Grizzlies because this would mean Conley coming off the bench but they get a prospect as well in Yi.
Wizards get: Marcus Thornton, Peja Stojakovic, '11 2nd round pick
Hornets get: Gilbert Arenas
Again the Wizards get an expiring contract and prospect. Maybe the Hornets do this to convince Paul to stay?
*EDIT*
Two more possible trades.
Wizards get: Danilo Gallinari, Eddy Curry, Andy Rautins
Knicks get: Gilbert Arenas, Hilton Armstrong
Wizards get: Mike Dunleavy, Jeff Foster
Pacers get: Gilbert ArenasLast edited by S. Famous; 10-21-2010, 07:28 PM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Wizards Get (Me)
Andre Iguadola
Sixers Get
Gerald Wallace
Nick Young
Earlier in the seaoson I traded Gil for Wallace but he was not what I was expecting.. Also I could not EVER get anything going with nick young so I decided to package him in the deal.. I maybe should have also asked for a 2nd round pick too.. so hopefully after a 2-4 start Iggy can get this team back on track.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
As the T-wolves I've been agonising over the trade I did and trying to convince myself it was a good idea. I shipped Beasley to Boston for Kendrick Perkins. I wanted a strong rebounding centre to replace Darko in my rotation.
I'm a couple of games in and Perkins is leading the league in rebounds and offensive rebounds. He and Kevin Love are cleaning up off the boards, but I can't help rueing the loss of Beasley.
Any thoughts?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
??? I have no use for Steven Blake or Shannon Brown. With Kobe getting 40 minutes a game and Vujacic coming off the bench as my backup SG (imo he is better....IN THE GAME). Getting Mo Williams to replace an aging Fisher, and having fisher as a backup PG. Come on now. Yes, maybe Odom for Powe is a lopsided swap, but... I will be getting a higher draft pick because face it, I will have a better record than the Cavs, and as of right now, I do. So that gives me 2 first round draft picks. As for Joey Graham, I only needed him to give Artest a rest, and replace the injured Matt Barnes, as I previoulsy said.
Figured I'd throw in a 2012 first rounder since I will probably be getting one of the later picks anyway.
Overall, I find it a beneficial trade for both teams. Cavs get some younger guys who have POT, and I get another weapon and 1st rounder.
EDIT: Btw, Mo Williams had 30 pts 19 asst 5 reb in his debut. Dont see Odom doing that to often. Powe also had 4 pts along with 6 boards.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Whats a realistic deal for Boris Diaw that gets the Bobcats a decent PG and a backup C or PF?
I would like to get Lamar Odom but I don't think that's realistic. And I would have to give up more than I want to.
Any suggestions?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
The only thing appealing thing for the Pacers is the pick since the T'Wolves are an early lottery team. They wouldn't need Luke since they have Collison and TJ already (Unless trades in your season.) Also, Pacers would be centre-less.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
How about this trade, look realistic to you guys?
I trade:
DeMar Derozan (high potential and athleticism, decent defender)
Ed Davis (high potential and good rebounding)
Marcus Banks (decent outside shot, above average defender)
Erick Dampier (good defense and rebounding)
I get (from Pistons):
Ben Gordon (bad contract, but I want another good scoring option and a good defender)
Ben Wallace (old but good defense)
Will Bynum (decent defender and outside shooter)
Jason Maxiel (good rebounder)
Or I can just do this if it sounds better:
I trade:
DeMar Derozan (high potential and athleticism, decent defender)
Ed Davis (high potential and good rebounding)
Marcus Banks (decent outside shot, above average defender)
I get (from Pistons):
Ben Gordon (bad contract, but I want another good scoring option and a good defender)
Ben Wallace (old but good defense)
What do ya guys think?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm playing Association with OKC, felt they're missing something under the board, so I tried differente possible trades...I eventually traded Collison and Ibaka to get Dalembert.
I wasn't too sure about the trade, especially cause I didn't want to lose Ibaka, but man, Dalembert is a beast!!! o_O
In his first game, he scored 18 points and collected 11 rebounds (plus 1 blocked shot).
What do you think about it?Comment
