I am going to start up an Association with the Bobcats and am thinking up some moves while I am laid up recovering from my tonsillectomy...I have only been viewing these on the ESPN Trade Machine, so I'm not sure about how well they will work in-game.

I need your opinions on these possible moves. I am open to adding draft picks coming/going if needed.

Move 1: 3 team trade, Memphis gets rid of OJ, I get rid of two guys I am not fond of and get Booker to mold into an eventual replacement for Diaw/Diop and their huge contracts.

Charlotte Gets: OJ Mayo from Memphis and Trevor Booker from Washington

Memphis Gets: DJ Augustin from Charlotte and Blatche from Washington

Washington Gets: Henderson from Charlotte and Tony Allen from Memphis

----

Move 2: I get rid of Diaw and his 9 contract, Sacramento gets rid of Cousins

Charlotte Gets: Cousins and Hickson from Sacramento

Sacramento Gets: Diaw from Charlotte (maybe a pick to sweeten the pot for them to take on that $)

Move 3: This may be a stretch...another 3 team deal. LA Lakers deal Bynum and Gasol, Orlando deals Howard, Charlotte deals 2 guys I'm not fond of, but I deal Thomas who I want to keep. Again I am open to send picks somewhere.

So what are your thoughts on these moves? Which ones are more realistic, which ones would you add picks to, how would you re-work them to make them more realistic?

The guys I really would like to hold onto are Kemba, Biyombo and Thomas...but everyone has a price

Move 2 and 3 will never happen. Magic will never take Gasol before bynum in any trade for howard.

Sac town will not trade Cousins for pieces like what you trying to offer

So in my Hawks association the trade deadline is coming up and the team is in 10th and 6 games below .500
i am ready to throw in the towel for the year and was looking to shed some $$$ to make a run at a FA such as Beasley, Lopez, Mayo etc.

So I came up with this:

Celtics Give: Kevin Garnett, Avery Bradley, JaJuan Johnson, Jermaine O'Neal, '13 First Round Pick
Celtics Receive: Josh Smith, Wayne Ellington, Marvin Williams

Hawks Give: Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, ZaZa Pachulia '13 Second Round Pick

I just took a trade in my celtics franchise. I am making it a rebuilding one so no one is safe since it sounds like that is what is going on anyways.

I put Garnett on the block and the Hawks came to me with this..

Celtics give: Garnett O'Neal

Hawks give: Josh Smith Al Horford

It kind of made sense to me though because they were out of the playoff picture, and howard declared for free agency. Garnett was in his last contract year and so was O'neal so they are freeing up a lot of cap doing this trying to get Howard and maybe Deron WIlliams in free agency.

This off season I might be shopping around as well. Want to try and get a top 10 pick... start a young team.

Why would you give up Josh Smith, who is in his prime for KG, who is past his prime? Honestly you lose in that trade, even if you are tryin to create some CAP space.

Hey guys was messing around with the lakers tonight before I went to bed and I made a couple trades and came up with this lineup.

Lakers trade - Matt Barnes 1st round pick
Cava trade - Ramon sessions, semi erdAn.

Lakers trade - gasol, artest, 2nd rounder, 13 1st
Pacers trade - Paul George, granger, hansbrough

Rotation after trades:

Sessions / fisher
Kobe / George
Granger / banks
Hansborough / character
Bynum / erdan

I upgraded the point guard spot with sessions. He gets under the wing of Irving in Cleveland. For whatever reason i can't play with artest in this game. I know I lost gasol but I picked up 2 younger wings in granges and George.

How would you re-work them?

Magic would have to get more in the trade such as bynum and 1st round picks.

Nets would get gasol and picks as well.

In real life lakers getting both is unlikely because we dont have enough good pieces which why no trade has been done. As a lakers fan i hate to say this but you would have to pick one of the two cause Gasol for howard will never happen so you would have to do it with bynum, 1st round picks and a player or two.


When it come to cousins i think in real life they would trade him only if they getting dwight back just like what the lakers are during because no matter what he do they not going to trade him cause he still young

The first trade is good that about it cause the cavs need defense but it would of been ok to trade blake for sessions and add a 1st round pick since in real life all they want is a 1st round pick

the second trade is awful for the pacers. it leaves them with:
Collison
Hill
David West
Pau Gasol
Roy Hibbert
as their starting 5... take out Paul George and give them two 1st rounders instead of a 2nd and a 1st. then take David West.

What else could I get for gasol. I like playing with Bynum. Would like to upgrade the small forward to add another wing to play along side Kobe. Then I could flip artest for a serviceable power forward

If you are willing to play either Martin or Kobe at SF this would work. You get an upgrade at PG, an above average PF, and a good scorer who doesn't have to have the ball.

i did this trade but computer wouldn't give me Flynn so i kept it real as i could and took back Dragic.

Trade was Gasol ,MWP, Steve blake and they gave back Martin, Scola, Dragic and Theebet.

WHat would ya'll rate that

Playing as the Spurs with vtcrb's roster, I'm looking for an improvement over Jefferson at the SF position. Players I'm willing to trade would include:

Jefferson, Blair, Ford, Bonner, however I would be open to suggestions.

Any trade suggestions, I was thinking to get Granger.
