Alright I came up with this win now trade
R. Hamilton, T. Prince, W. Bynum
For
B. Davis and C. Kaman
I like the post scoring from Kaman need a passing guard in Davis and want to play Stuckey at the 2
LA gets 11 mil off their books. A good 6th man for them in Hamilton and Bynum to hold over the PG spot till Bledsoe develops a little more.
Thoughts?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I should give some background first, I'm TOR and needed help up front due to a myriad of injuries to my bigs. Calderon,Odom,Tayshaun were all unhappy customers riding the pine so trades were inevitable. Walton and W.Bynum were fillers. FYI pick from MIL likely to be lottery b/c injuries have derailed them.

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Loaded my association this morning and got this offer from New Orleans:
Hawks (me) get: Emeka Okafor, '11 First Round Pick
Hornets get: Josh Smith, Maurice Evans
I didn't accept the trade because I like Smith's style, he's still young, and use him sporadically at SF. Looking back, I probably should have accepted it because I could have moved Horford to the PF, where he's better suited, and picked up a decent SF in the draft (or free agency).
What do y'all think? Did I do the right thing declining or should I have accepted?Comment

Also, Horford is more suited for center, not power forward. Looking at the numbers, on the defensive end of course, Horford is a top five center in the league defensively. That's why the Hawks have said they have no intention of moving Al Horford to power forward, because he can handle big men down low because of his big body and his intelligence on the defensive end.
Really I don't know why the Hawks aren't better with all of this said, they have two terrific big men and a all-star shooting guard, as well as a great scorer off of the bench, but I digress.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Im the Toronto Raptors and Im in my 2nd year. I made one trade in my 1st season which was trading Peja for Antawn Jamison. In the draft, I drafted Kyrie Irving. Now in the start of the season, the Nuggets r rebuilding with no Melo and, Nene and J.R. are unhappy like real life. So this is a trade I came up with since I needed a better backup sg and a center. With this trade, Im planning to move Bargnani to PF so he can be more effective.
Nuggets receive:
Antawn Jamison (expiring)
Barbosa (expiring)
1st round pick 2012 Toronto
Rapters receive:
JR Smith
NeneComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Not one particular trade, but curious what you guys think about my roster in year 3. I completely gutted the Cavs roster for prospects and picks.
PG: Mario Chalmers (8ppg, 6apg)
SG: Evan Turner (19ppg, 5rpg, 5apg)
SF: Wesley Johnson (13ppg, 5rpg)
PF: Jared Sullinger (6th pick, 16ppg, 8rpg)
C: Anthony Randolph (12ppg, 6rpg)
6: Michael Redd (signed as FA; 8ppg)
7: Marvin Williams (7ppg)
8: Daniel Gibson (only leftover; 4 ppg)
9: Brandan Wright
10: Tiago Splitter
I think all the trades were fair - I traded Varejao, Sessions and a couple picks for Serge Ibaka, who was an 80 OVR when I ended up trading him for Evan Turner (he was on Indy at the time)Ohio State Buckeyes | Cleveland Indians | Cleveland Browns | Cleveland Cavs | Columbus Blue Jackets

PG - Ramon Sessions
SG - Kelenna Azubuike (free agent)
SF - Carmelo Anthony (free agent)
PF - J.J. Hickson
C - Anderson Varejao
6 - Chris Douglas-Roberts (free agent)
7 - Perry Jones (#2 overall pick)
8 - Jimmer Fredette (#13 overall pick)
9 - Leon Powe
10 - Daniel Gibson
I basically traded Antawn Jamison and Mo Williams for about $28 million in expiring contracts (Michael Redd, Nazr Mohammed, Kwame Brown) and the Bobcats 1st round pick.Last edited by free7694; 01-29-2011, 03:45 AM.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I just started with the Bulls and I am 1-1 and just got blown out by the freaking Kings. Yah I know I suck at this game lol. I'm looking to get a stud SG. Don't really care about getting rid of Noah but I know that the Bulls would never trade Noah in real life but I need another guy that can help take preasure of of Rose. The only guy I would like to keep is Boozer. Everyone else is expendable.Comment
