Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

I am the Bulls and this is what I did to my roster:

      1) trade Dang, Noah & 1st rounder to Memphis for OJ Mayo and Rudy Gay

      2) Traded Ronnie Brewer to Cleveland for Daniel Gibson and a 1st

      3) Traded OJ Mayo to Denver for JR Smith, Balkman and their 1st

      Rose / Gibson / Watson
      Smith / Gibson / Korver
      Gay / Balkman / Korver
      Boozer / Gibson
      Thomas / Chicago backup

I am loving this roster. I run, run, run. I'm a great 3 point shooting team. Have decent depth in my backcourt only spot I'm really weak at is C and I'll address that in the draft or through free agency. Might try and package Taj GIbson and a pick or something for a decent C so I can get depth.

Right now I am like 6-2 in my season and on a 5 game win streak. Now bear in mind that my opponets were the likes of Cleveland, Minnesota, Sacremento, and a couple other team.s

Doing a Magic Association post-trades. I'm looking for a backup centre and this trade came up in the Trade Finder:

Magic trade Quentin Richardson, Chris Duhon and Malik Allen to the CLIPPERS for Deandre Jordan, Rasoul Butler, and 2nd round pick

I think its fair because Baron Davis has a long term injury for the Clippers in my Association plus Deandre Jordan doesn't play that much behind Chris Kaman in the game.

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread

              I'm the Milwaukee Bucks.

              Bucks receive
              SF Michael Beasley (MIN)
              SG Alonzo Gee (CLE)

              Timberwolves receive
              SG Chris Douglas-Roberts (MIL)
PF Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (MIL)
              PF Antawn Jamison (CLE)

              Cavaliers receive
              SG Michael Redd (MIL)
              C Kosta Koufos (MIN)

I'm in desperate need of a shooter, so I went out and got a young one. I think the T'Wolves won this trade, but I'm happy with what I did, as well. My "untouchable" players are Brandon Jennings, Michael Beasley, Larry Sanders, and Andrew Bogut. I have a bright future; hopefully this move is enough for a division crown.

              Projected Line-Up
              PG Jennings
              SG Salmons
              SF Maggette
              PF Beasley
              C Bogut

For the T'Wolves, they get a big, young guard in CDR, a really good defender in Mbah a Moute, and a shooter in Jamison. Those three for Beasley and Koufos is a pretty good haul, IMO. I edited Kevin Love to be a center and Jamison to be a SF.

              Projected Line-Up
              PG Flynn
              SG Wesley Johnson
              SF Jamison
              PF Mbah a Moute
              C Love

For the Cavs, they acquire Michael Redd, who went to college at Ohio St., so he should be familiar with the fans. The Cavs swap Jamison and his two year deal for an expiring in Redd. Cleveland also receives a 7'0", 21 year old center, albeit very raw.

              Projected Line-Up
              PG Williams
              SG Redd
              SF Graham
              PF Hickson
              C Varejao
Chicago Cubs - Chicago Bears - Milwaukee Bucks

Nuggets get...Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, Shannon Brown, and Ron Artest.

Lakers get...Carmelo Anthony, Al Harrington, and Arron Afflalo.

I tried to get J.R. Smith instead of Afflalo, but they wouldn't do it. At least I got another starting big in Al Harrington though and while he can't run the floor like Odom, he can spread it for Gasol with his three point shooting.

The Nuggets would have a lot of defensive potential too with Chauncey Billups and Ron Artest, even if they're both past their prime.

                        I was thinking...

Williams, that SF from the rockets, he's a pretty good player in this game.

Should i trade Deng and another player for him?

I play better with Deng myself. I can score 20+ points with him consistently if I actually played my Bulls franchise, lol. He can hit shots pretty well. So no, I wouldn't do that as I find Williams to be mediocre at just about everything.

Terrible for both teams really. Not many teams want Bynum's huge contract since he is injured annually anyways, and the Lakers aren't for strictly offensive-minded players like Bargnani and Calderon tend to be. Also, the Raptor's first round pick is probably going to be at least a top 10 pick, maybe top 5, so it doesn't really make sense for either team. Your association though
