The Official Rate My Trade Thread

First off getting Kevin Durant on the Bulls, without giving up Derek Rose is impossible. With that said I started a Bulls association and wanted to get Rose and Durant on the same team. I made 9 trades in total to get my team where I somewhat wanted it to be.

Trade 1) Traded Boozer to Cavs for Mo Williams and '11 1st
Did this to reduce cap space and get another 1st round pick.

Trade 2) Traded Deng to Thunder for Nick Collison and '12 1st.
Did this because I attempted a trade for Durant and they said that they didn't want to give up a SF right now.

Trade 3) Traded Noah and Mo Williams To Grizzlies for Rudy Gay.
This is where I started to trade up for a good player to try and get Durant.

Trade 4) Traded Rudy Gay and '12 1st to Jazz for Deron Williams.
I know this trade doesn't make any sense but it was just another piece to the puzzle.

Trade 5) Traded Deron Williams, '11 1st, Taj Gibson to Clippers for Blake Griffin, Randy Foye, Ryan Gomes, and Willie Warren.

Thought about stopping here because I know Blake turns into a beast but I wanted Durant.

Trade 6) Traded Blake Griffin, Randy Foye, Ronnie Brewer and '11 1st to Nuggets for Carmelo Anthony and Sheldon Williams.

I did this because I thought the Thunder would bite if they received Anthony, along with some 1st round picks, but they didn't.

I decided it would be the Rose and Anthony show but my team still wasn't set so I made 3 more trades using the trade finder.

Trade 7) Traded Nick Collison to Kings for Samuel Dalembert.
Needed Collison's very very bad contract gone.

Trade 8) Traded Ryan Gomes, C.J. Watson and '12 1st to Rockets for Courtney Lee and Brad Miller.
Did this because I needed a decent SG and another big man. Plus I always liked Miller.

Trade 9) Traded Willie Warren, Brian Scalabrine and '11 2nd to Magic for Brandon Bass.

Needed a starting Power Forward and was shocked the Magic even offered this trade.

So now my team looks like this

I am probably going to try and trade some bench players for a back up PG because I know Rose can't play every minute of every game.

My first game was a great one too. I did player lock with Rose and beat the Thunder 111 to 93. It was the first game I actually enjoyed playing.

Rose was a beast this game as he had a triple double (56 points, 15 assists and 13 rebounds). Anthony chipped in with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The surprise for my team was Courtney Lee. He had 15 points and was 3-5 from 3 point.

So even though I didn't get my Durant/Rose combo I think I still have a great combo with Anthony/Rose. Now I just need to lock them both up long term.

You could of got that lineup without screwing up half the league I would restart to try and get that line up easier...

i did a 3 way deal to help out the cavs who are 3-27 in the 2nd year of my pacers ac.

so in the draft i did a deal to get the cavs 2012 1st round pick so i feel bad for them that they dont have a pick ..and jj hickson wanted to be trade

I decided to trade Harden first

the two offers I have on the table are

K. Perkins and A. Bradley

I like the second trade better because Gordon is better than Bradley and I feel Perkins and Jordan are comparable for what im looking for out of them. But one is gonna cost me 10 mil a year and the other probably around 4 or 5

Def the second one, Deandre Jordan and Eric Gordon are both young players, they both can be a solid player, deandre is a very good rebounder and shot blocker for me, while eric is very good outside shooter and slasher for me

Totally a salary dump by me. Getting Holiday would be great. I would probably trade Beans for a guy like Zach Randolph who has an expiring contract.

But who would Philly accept this? There's no way they would, right?

Bynum is no upgrade losing Holiday obviously. Same for Villanueva. Ben Gordon would be a nice SG, but they have Iguodala already and a comparable backup to Gordon in Turner (74).

Of course, this trade would be approved in game. Is this a problem w the game?

I could essentially keep Holiday and then sign Carmelo in the off-season if I could dump Brand.

I needed a big body to put next to Amare who can rebound the ball.

They both only had 1 year left on their contract so it's basically a rental.

Pacers would NEVER do that in real life. Especially now that hes averaging like 20-25 points a game in the last month or so. He's untouchable.

Using the Clippers I want to get rid of Kaman. Does nothing but slow my team down and adds my team worst -1.4 estimated wins added. Here is the deal I'm thinking about:

Clippers Trade
- Chris Kaman (73, B-Pot, 2 yrs $24.5, 28yrs old)
- Rasual Butler (67, Blows, 1 yr $2.5, 31)

Rockets Trade
- Shane Battier (73, 1 yr $7, 32yrs old)
- Jared Jeffries (67, 1 yr $7, 29)

Brad Miller is 34 and starting for Yao who broke ankle and is out 6-8 weeks with 1yr left on contract.

Angel fan I would say the worst thing that can happen is that you don't get any better on the court but your salary is a lot better so that would be a good trade.

For me I am looking at getting a big man for the sun. I am 18-19 right now with playing and simulating and I almost always lose when I sim and I never get more rebounds or points in the paint. So who do you think will be a good big man who can run the court and also hit from close to mid range?
