I wouldn't want to get rid of Cousins a young post player like that is much more diifcult to find then a young scoring guard. I see why you are looking into it cause Mayo could play next to Evans and provide him with a lil back court relief. Id rather trade Cousins for a good pg leave Evans at the. If your going to make a move you could try and say get Calderon from the Raptors with DeRozan or something similar. Maximize Cousins trade potential a 5 star center should net you whatever you want.

And with the Chicago trade I really like Wes he is steady and would play off of Rose well. You gave up a lot for him but Chicago would have more of a win now attitude. Lee and Miller is a steal for Brewer and Asik if you have trouble shooting with Brewer.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Don't know about his potential but the style of offense you want to run, DeRozan from Toronto and T-Will from New Jersey would be a great pick ups for you. You might have to trade Willie and Ariza to get T-Will though. As for DeRozan it might be a little easier. As for Emeka I personally would try to trade him for someone like Dalemert, he plays a similar style by offering defense and rebounds and the bonus is contract is ending. So you can resign him way cheaper next while giving you some cap flexibility to sign other players. Plus I'm sure you can get a pick from Sac with the trade as well.GT Agent August

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I hope you are kidding, there is know way he pulled that Wes. Johnson trade off w/o using trade override. He pretty much stole Johnson away. The 1st rounders will be in the 15-20 range and Bogans...for this year's #4 pick. Some quick advice for you, if you to use trade override more like its not a steal.GT Agent August

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Bad deal...even if ZBo does leave in free agency.
Why would Sac part w/ their PF of the future?
If you're hellbent on Mayo, trade Landry and Garcia. What is Sac going to do w/ Udrih, Mayo, Evans, Garcia, and Greene? Too many swingman and combo guards. Plus I think Mayo is more valuable to a lower-seed contending Memphis team than an unproven rookie, all that, and the Grizz have a great frontcourt and good depth w/ Arthur/Thabeet.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
thats a real bad move for both teams.. the Kings are banking their future on Cousins n Evans.. the grizzlies frontcourt is already loaded with Thabeet/Gasol/Randolph so why add another big man.. plus u would overload the Kings backcourt because they are loaded back there..Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
What about this trade
D.Lee
For
Josh Smith
I am not getting 11 million out of Lee as it is he is a great offensive weapon...sometimes but he lacks any sort of D. Pau Gasol pounded on him so did Bosh and Duncan made him look like a girl. Smith might not be an upgrade in the low post but his activity elsewhere will upgrade my overall team D. Plus Smith is unhappy in ATL for some reason.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Amar'e got injured the 3rd game of a 29 game season and he's done for the year. After losing to the Rockets 53-112 I didn't feel that Raymond Felton could carry the load and Anthony Randolph isn't ready either. So I made two trades that I thought not only helped benefit the team right now, but for the future as well. Keep in mind Andy Rautins was my backup SG and then I put him in the D-Leauge because he wasn't doing anything and I moved Azubuike from the inactive list and made him Landry Fields' backup.
Celtics get:
Raymond Felton
Andy Rautins
Knicks get:
Nate Robinson
Marquis Daniels
Right after I made that trade I got an offer from Cleveland.
Cavaliers get:
Marquis Daniels
Knicks get:
2011 2nd Round Pick
2012 2nd Round Pick
Thoughts on these trades? Thought they were pretty fair, realistic, and helpful.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
24-year-old Darren Collison for two 1st rounders (most likely high picks, probably top 10). BUT, with a draft that has no one of value to me (because I already have a stud SG). Also, Collison is only 24, and has AMAZING speed. Good or bad trade? Hopefully he doesn't stay the same the next few seasons and actually progresses.Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
31 games into my Heat association and I needed some interior size and someone who has good post defense. So I made a trade with the Bobcats who earlier traded for Kendrick Perkins.
Waived Jamal Maglooire (to create roster space)
Signed Erick Dampier to 1 year/$3.55 million deal (I am playing with the 10/26 rosters, so he isn't on the Rockets, and I strictly signed him as a contract filler, plus he gives the Bobcats size to replace Perkins).
Traded Mario Chalmers (young, good potential), Erick Dampier (filler, size, expiring deal), 2011 and 2012 first round picks for Kendrick Perkins and Bobcats 2011 second round pick.
Re-signed Jamaal Magloire to vet minimum, 1 year/$1.35 million deal (deal he had before I released him as well).
I think it's fair because the Bobcats have the third worst record in the entire NBA and they build a bit for the future with picks and Chalmers, plus clear some cap space. Perkins deal is expiring, and while he is a restricted free agent, I highly doubt they would have been able to re-sign him.
What do you guys think? I know it's not realistic from the standpoint of the Celtics would never have traded Perkins to the Bobcats in the first place, but do you think this trade is fair for the Bobcats? Thanks to any and all thoughts on this.Comment
