Yea, vets dont progress, havent seen how a low POT effects regression but I know for a fact that it lowers their value

0 is drastic I know,but players like J O'Neal are in their last ride and 90 in potential seems to me an error.
And give to players like Nash or Big Tim the star role maybe counter their low(35 for exemple???45????) potential.

Sadly no, simmed games are for the most part, ruined. It's even worse once you get to the playoffs, like the results are just nuts.

Why can't some people just enjoy the game instead of trying to find things wrong with it mean searching to find bugs and what not just play and enjoy damn. If any problems happen to surface then it most likely can be patched.

Ive learned to just enjoy and play the game its nothing really earth shattering that pops out right at you so just go play.

Frankly I think these issues just surfaced as you said. It did pop out as I played except for the no trades thing which was brought to my attention by Gosens, but then again with the way I play, I would have encountered it in the first day anyways. I certainly wasn't looking for these bugs. I'm more of a casual gamer so I'm definitely NOT one of those guys that puts the game through a wringer; I'm not paid to test However I expect the modes that I buy the game for to actually work as advertised. As a paying customer, I think I have that right.

first round:

3 4-1
4 4-3
second round:
2 4-0(okc on uta,la on hou)
2 4-1(mia on bos,orl on mil)
semi finals and finals 4-3

There may be some issues with association, but I can not stress how grateful I am to 2K for allowing us to edit things like draft classes and players ratings during the season. That option should be available in every franchise mode, (I am looking at you, MADDEN) it allows us to fix certains problems and not have to wait on the company to release a patch.

I do not condone these mistakes, I just like the ability to fix some things on my own.

So if I were to lower the rookies Overall & Potential, how much should I lower them by?

I'm currently scouting this center who's predicted to go in Mid-Late 1st Round, & he's an A+ in every category besides overall(B+), athleticism(B+), & Intangibles(D). He's predicted to go 23rd & he looks like the greatest player ever, lol.

BTW, I have scouted this guy 4 times, with A & B scouts, so its accurate.

Just curious, but how long is it taking you guys to get through a season if you're playing all 82 games? Are you playing on 12 minute quarters?

I remember him saying 4 or 5 minutes which is very reasonable.

The problem with that is a lot of us play 12 minute quarters to get the true sim experience and we certainly can't play 82 games + playoffs at that rate. I tried before. By game 28 with the same team, I started simming.

When I simmed a season last night there were only two teams with winning records on the road, lakers and celtics.

Their were only 2 teams that had losing records at home. That is terrible and nothing like how the NBA. 2k must find a way to fix this pronto. They hyped their Association to be the be all and end all. I would really like to know what the deal is. They have never had problems with this before so I dont what is going on this year.

Their is way too much home court advantage.

PLEASE 2k, Simballer, Ronnie, Beluba somebody please let us know if yall are addressing this issue. Its the only thing stopping Me from playing Association.

Yall have been doing a fantastic job of listening to the consumers this year and yall know that ASSociation is where we spend alot of time. This is a BUZZKILL.

In order to fix association, we need a more strict rating system. There should be maybe one rookie a year above 78 and with close to A potenial. Everybody else should have B to C potenial after the top 5. Maybe a few sleepers in the second round but thats about it. I simmed like 20 seasons and the problem isn't the trade logic or the player role system. There are just too many good players in the league by year 7. The lack of trades is due to the fact that everybody has pieces to win, its just clear that the better teams with the best morales tend to do the best.

I actually like how the CPU manages its salary Cap situation. I didn't see every team -30 million over the salary cap. Some teams actually had room to make a room. The player roles need to be adjusted, homefield advantage needs to be tweaked to lower how much its affecting the teams. The games need to be closer so the sim engine needs to fixed too. There needs to be less progression between the players so we don't have that talent overload like we always do by year 7. Thats the reason why trades stop happening, and FA stop being signed.

There should be one big superstar come into the league every 5 seasons.

Can't this be addressed by editing the draft classes at the start of the season? A royal PITA I know, but just throwing out the possibility.
