After some more testing only 158 Legends allowed in FA Pool.

Nice But about exporting teams, how do you export 10 teams at a time? cause in 2k11 you export one at a time and then when you try to export another it saves over the previous data, so how do you export teams with out saving over your roster data? and can export 10 at once or is it one at a time? I just need a little more detail on how to export teams that's all.

You have to switch your user team and maybe cause you have autosave on is why it saves over

Is your Free Agent pool full? Maybe if you get rid of players or move them to a team you can have room for even more legends

No because I tried this and no.

I basically did all the real players for 17 teams (at random) and once I went to load the 18th exported team a message came up saying: "Not enough created player slots exist. Multiple Empty slots are required to import file."

Hmm. Does that mean the legends are regarded as created players by the game? If that's the case, that could be troublesome for anyone who wanted to create or import CAPs.

It's extraordinarily disappointing to discover that 2K has regressed so far in the ease of transfers as well as the age edit removal. I've been planning out my classic/current fusion rosters for months, and to find out that it's going to take some major awkwardness to get them to work roils my blood.

Many thanks for those of you who worked on a workaround, better than nothing, but this should NOT be necessary.

Very disappointing that 2K would limit the use of the classic players that have become their selling point, hopefully this can be fixed, or at the very least, an explanation would be worthwhile.

I feel precisely the same way.

I am appreciative of the work around, but it shouldn't be necessary and still leaves issues.

I totally agree with you. I too have planned out rosters and all this really puts a damper on my plans, esp. with the age editing restriction. It doesn't make any sense to hinder roster management in any way since it has been a 2K staple for however long, and since there are so many of us customers who love this aspect of the game. 2K has boasted giving more control to the players this year. Ironically, in giving us more control, they have limited our freedom.

I am going to be sending an email to [email protected], as well as a few tweets to @Ronnie2k and @2ksports, as someone in this thread has suggested, and I really hope others do the same. I'm hoping for a day one or week one patch for this. At the very least, they need to give us a quick patch to make player ages editable, since there is no workaround for that. The larger issue - the legends' immobility - needs to be patched as well, but I fear that may take more time.

Anyway, I think we should all try to make contact with 2K and request a fix for these issues.

I cant believe this thread is 32 pages....this is nothing new, you could do this on 2k11

you can trade benchwarmers from current teams for legends on the old teams if you're in the roster section...or you can just assign legends to the regular 30 teams

you can edit legends age, you just have to do it in association mode. best thing to do is turn autosave off, make all the edits then turn it back on

Yeah but on 2k11 we could also do all of what you said WITHOUT going on Association so it is a pain and a change

you couldn't edit age on 2k11 for legends unless you were in association

you could edit how many years theyd been in the league, but not age
