I received the PS3 update, see no real changes after playing 3 full games.

With the commentary off; I did notice the home crowd wrongly booing on occasion and chanting Defense when I was at the free throw line?

There has been some effort to fix the uploading of videos to 2k.com a few old ones appeared this morning. However, I tried to upload a NEW one this morning and it aborted so maybe they are trying to clear the "BACKLOAD"? The aforementioned videos have yet to appear in my YouTube account. Pulling the URLs from videos on the 2k page doesn't appear to work either as a solution to the positing of vids from YT.

Agree; I think the only thing they fixed was the PS3 freeze "Load Settings" issue from the last update! As of 9:06am, I have seen no details relative to Patch v1.5; posted to their Facebook page.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

The Pacers have started playing in sync after the break, boosted by the volatile Milos Flowers canning open jump shots and spacing the floor for West and Hibbert who are having career seasons. Flowers has since the break been twice named rookie of the month and once NBA player of the week.

Danny Granger comes off the bench for 3-5 minutes, which is kind of upsetting. If the cpu was just smart enough to start Flowers at SG, we'd be unstoppable. But hey, Flowers gets the PT, so I won't complain.

Flowers and the Pacers have secured the fifth seed in the playoffs, quite an accomplishment, considering the basement status they were in going into the break. Flowers was named to the all-rookie first team as a result.

Now it is time for the Celtics in a playoff showdown.

      Milos Flowers:

      OVR 71
      Shot in-66
      close 82
      med 80
      3pt 78
      layup 68
      dunk 30
      shoot in traffic 93
      pass 65
      on ball d 78
      steal 53
      block 43
      d reb 68
      consistency 76

      Bring it Pierce!

Edit: Crushed in 6. I wish I could count the number of times the shot clock was running out and they canned some BS contested. Also, as a Celtics fan I wish they were that good! Honestly we really didn't stand a chance. Kept it close, but in the clutch they always exploded. Oh well. Next year.

On the positive, Flowers is on the cover of SI 2013 preview! Nice!

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

Had the best game of my rookie season thus far, but it came during a defeat to the Kobe-led Lakers. My SF had 52 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and two blocks (one behind Kobe as he was going to dunk), but my Nashless (injured) Suns couldn't keep up with Kobe's 45. It didn't help that I was turning the ball over in a desperate attempt to figure out how the heck to dunk. After the game I was named an alternate All-Star.

Even though my team started the season with a 5-20 record, we've battled our way to .500 and are sitting at 6th in the conference.

I got 12k for that game seeing as how I also hit the "1000 career points" and "50 points in a game" milestones. Decided to use the points to up my Def. On Ball and Def. Awareness to 90.

That's cool man, I'm on the suns too with my point guard; just had a triple double not too long ago on the youtube channel I run. Suns can be tough but also rewarding. I'm looking forward to the off-season to see what they do to build around me.

I played on the Suns with my PF, and they did nothing to build around me. They signed Boykins and got rid of a couple players, I had to leave
But, I seen recently CP3 going there ALOT of times after the 1st season.

BIG time rewarding. The game after that against the Clippers I had the game winning shot at the buzzer. Damn that felt good. I'm hoping that they're able to get either 1.) a point guard to help when Nash rests (Telfair is killing me and neither can play D) or 2.) a big man. My centers are decent (for whatever reason, my guys seems to perform give and go's really well with Lopez), but at PF, there's only Morris, who's okay but is barely on the court. Frye and Hill are subbed in for him and both are trrble. Hill is in major decline and has already said he's retiring and Frye's pretty much useless. Shannon Brown, though... beast.

I'll stick through my contract and see what they do. I may bolt for the Hornets though since that's my hometown and they are rebuilding as well. I'm lucky I landed with the Suns though since they're my second home.

Oh, and I know people talked about their players' chosen colleges and what Stern called them. Well how 'bout this: I chose New Orleans as my uni and Stern introduces me from Mississippi. Seriously? You have a frickin' team in the city and you can't say it? Palm to face.

Just had my first double-double.. 11 points, 12 assists, 4 steals, 1 rebound and 2 TO. 53% FG. 12th game.
PG Defensive. Working on my dunking(till 40 so I can dunk on fast breaks, currently on 36) and ball security and stealing. Didn't touch my shooting because I get enough points of fast breaks and open lanes.

Re: Official NBA 2K12 My Player Thread

Heading to the NBA Finals in my Rookie Season!

Since my PG was drafted 17th overall by the Knicks, he has taken the NBA by storm, and in his first season, averaged 23/10/3, a 1x All-Star and All-NBA selection. We have become one of the top teams in the league, and we're looking for the Knicks to bring home the championship! We're either going to play the Thunder or Lakers. Me, Melo, and Amar'e have become the premier trios in the league, and the Heat and Nuggets are our biggest rivals.

Finished Game 5 vs. Orlando with 26 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks on 55% shooting. Next season, I want to become more of a distributor and less of a scorer, and only take on that role when our team needs me. I want to improve my rebounding, and even though I lead the league in triple doubles (2), my rebounding is sub-par at 3~4 RPG. For next season, I want to average around 20/12 for the season.

I've been an efficient player, and my PTS+REBS+ASTS are at 40PG, in 40 MPG. Top 10 in PER, Efficiency, TS% are my goals...and to lead the league in FT%. My PG just broke the league record for consecutive FT made, with 100 so far. I have gone 70-70 for the playoffs (18 games).

I have a 6'4 200lbs point guard, for the Suns. I don't like being there. Can you guys give me some teams I should request a trade to, where the other players can get me assists. Also i want to average a triple double (Points, Assists, Rebounds) what areas should i spend my skill points on?

Just beat the Knicks at MSG 98-96...Melo missed a shot that would have sent the game to OT. I had my best all-around game as a Bobcat so far with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals, a block, and a clutch 3 and a clutch free throw at the end. Biyombo also made a big play near the end; I had lost the ball but he hustled back to get it and went in for the slam. I really have to thank him. If he hadn't made that play, we definitely would have lost.

I totally love playing for this team. At Milwaukee, I was doing it all. Especially with Jennings, Jackson, and Bogut, that team's offense really should be a lot better. Now I can have backup from Biyombo and Kemba. If those two stay on the team when it's Contract Negotiation time, then I'll stay in Charlotte and keep the new Big 3 alive even if the Knicks come calling.

Release: 27 ; Shot Base: Jump Shot: 40
                              (PG/SG/CEN)

Oddly enough, since my 7-2/Center/ATH is primarily a post player, I still use this Shooting form and he buries mid-range shots!

Mind you this shot is pure in form, but, not a quick release, so if you lack vertical you need "open space" and a high Shoot in Traffic to use this signature form of shooting.

                                Trade talk:

                                IMHO;
Jazz or Hornets for a good challenge (re-building)
Hawks, Magic or Pacers are Ideal (contenders)
Heat or Lakers (too many options to dish the rock-may get boring); however, I am still playing my pre-Lin Knicks PG and still enjoying dishing to Melo & Stoud.

                                Honorable Mention: Grizzlies

*Knicks - At 75 Jeremy Lin is replaceable if you don't mind squashing Linsanity!
