    PG/SCORING/KNICKS/YEAR 2

Big win vs. Conference leading Pacers; it's now a three-way tie for first in the East, and we've all played 30 games; Knicks are 21-9. Big game for Stoudemire, and he scored 30; I nearly recorded a triple-double, fell just one rebound short after I got subbed out with 2 minutes left. Got 22/9/14 and I scored 22 points on only 4-9 shooting; drew so many fouls driving in on a smaller Collison.

Our bench finally woke up, and they scored nearly 40 of the 112 points total; everybody that got playing time scored, which was nice to see for once.

Just passed D-Will and D-Wade on the All-Star votes, with roughly 900,000 and it looks like me and D-Rose will be the East Guard All-Star Starters.

Just got 2K Sneaks Magazine, which was cool.

        We lost.... by a lot.

And the worst part, the Bulls don't even want to negotiate with me. D: (Ellis was my favorite teammate. He was like literally on every team I was on. The Warriors, Lakers, and then the Bulls.)

        I had 38/8/5.

I have no idea where I should go.... Hmmm....

I think I'm going to go to the Clippers. There's only 2 other point guards there, and they have Griffin.

Just from my Point of view I would suggest looking for a team that has another scorer to help spell you so you don't have to carry the load and solid big men. I love the jazz due to the deep front court even though there isn't a big scorer outside of Jefferson, Millsap, and Me.

Maxing Layup never hurts a Guard!

You want to try and get Off-Hand Dribble & Ball Security to (90), IMHO. You will see below this post that I got away with (81) for my Ball Security in my Rookie Season. That being said, I had to frantically upgrade it once I moved up in Difficulty...the way you have been performing so far...you just may also climb in Difficulty...

For Both the max u will need is 95 no matter the Difficulty you play as you progress. Ball Security keeps you from getting stripped in traffic and to some extent keeps you from dribbling off feet!

Now don't go crazy trying to accomplish by tomorrow, just consistently add to these skills. Also remember the Drills-"Dribble Course" will also give you these skill points! Last but not least before you upgrade your Dribbling Abilities you want to get Off-Hand Dribble to 90 or your defeating the purpose of upgrading!

                PG/ATH/KNICKS/Soph/OVR: 91
The A-Train - Defend the Title!
                Knicks: (41-23) , 1st Atlantic Division, 2nd Eastern Conf, Power Rank: 7 (-4)

If it takes all night, then so be it!

After losing 5 straight ball games, we really need a win, BADLY, no sense in taking the Mil Bucks (22-38) lightly after losing to the Raptors & Sixers in this skid. I must of said... Run the Offense twice every quarter to myself to pull this one out.

Pretty much pounded the low post with the ball getting the Bucks in early foul trouble. And found a new way to divert "the collapse" everytime Melo & Stoudemire acted like they wanted to go on a journey with the ball I came and got it, and waited for them to get into a good shot position and gave it right back to them. It worked like a charm despite the fact as a team we are still shooting (33-78) around 38% from the field. Knicks 92; Bucks 79

                A-Train; 24pts, (9-16)(6-7-FT), 3 reb, 6 asst, 1 Steal, 2 TOs; Melo & Stoud each dropped 15 on (10-24) shooting

Skill Points: I have finally maxed Ball Security (81 to 95); still need to boost 3-pt Shot (82-85) and Steal (80-85)...its alot harder to steal the ball @ Superstar level. 62 games into the season, and I still need to save for my dribbling attributes....cutting it close here.

                    2. You cannot practice Free Throws in My Player...yea its a bummer

                    3. Yes, Red means Fatigue, every time you hit TURBO you are eating into your Stamina. The Blue equals the amount of Stamina your player has. The big "G" is the Gatorade Cup telling you that you are out of gas and need rest (you probably won't get it, so try to avoid shooting at this point)

The "Yellow Blocks" on your ring symbolize your Hot Shooting spots on the Court. The more Yellow blocks you have for a particluar area the better you will shoot there.

                    1. Whew...

Play Styles: Pass-first means he primarily passes the ball instead of looking for his own opportunities to score. Scoring & 3-pt Specialist are scorers. Athletic is a player with strong physical attributes. Defensive is a player with strong defensive skills.

                    Positions:
PG- The ball handler that controls the offense.
SG- A ball handling wing player who primarily looks to score points.
SF- A versatile and athletic wing player, he can score from the outside and in the Low Post, runs the floor well, good finisher on the fastbreak (dunk) and good shot blocker because of his athleticism.
PF- Primarily a low post player. Generally considered the Enforcer on the floor, scores in the low post, great rebounder and good shot blocker.
C- Primarily a low post player. Guards the paint, scores primarily in the low post, good passer, great rebounder and shot blocker.

The gameplay; set it on Pro/Simulation, I recommend you Turn the Plays to Auto; Show Plays: Full (Game Mode Settings)

Adding Skill Points & Abilities: Once you have selected the player you want to create...take a moment to look at the top players for that position FROM THE MAIN MENU - ROSTER.

Hit Edit and look at their skill points so you have an idea of where they are strong (number value) so that when you add skill points you are adding them to appropriate areas. For example a Center does not require much attention to his Off-Hand Dribbling!

Signature Moves: Default is just fine, but, while you are looking at skills take a peak at their signature moves. Remember you can change signature moves at anytime during your players' progression.

Plays: Once you have been Drafted. Go to the Main menu, create a temporary Assosication file for that particular team. Once you do that turn on the Practice and you can watch the plays being run so you have an idea of what to expect...PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR POSITION.

Things that will get on your nerves...

"Bumping" and "Suck-in" is a major Hurdle to climb; there are several posts about how to lessen the frustration

Rookie "Ice Skating" its when you lose control of your player...he will run around "out of control"

Ask anything, but be as specific as you can be...

I am probably forgetting something but this should get you to your first 5 questions!
                    Thanks for the reply.

Is it a bug that you get subbed in at different positions, besides you main and secondary? I made a 6'10 SF and in my first three games with Charolette I've played all positions except center. Felt odd being a PG for awhile.

I raised a few attributes after my last game. I raised Off Hand to 80, Ball Security to 85, steal to 70, on ball d to 85, defensive AWR to 74 (75 is goal for now) off clutch to 45 (going for 50)

And my MVP season continues with a triple-double vs CP3. 18 points, 10 boards, and 14 assists. Shot 7-13 and 4-4 from the line. Carmelo and Amar'e continuing their dominance with 21 and 30. Nice to see other guys startig to step up; Bogans scored 13, Balkman with 10, Douglas and Miles with 8, and Jamal Johnson, our scrub draft pick scored 10. I think I am starting to figure Keith Bogans out, and putting hin in the starting lineup wasnt too bad of a decision by coach. Will I win MVP?:

My Player is #21 PG Matt Crock,6'0,158lbs,Defensive Player from Ohio.

I went with making him like I was at the age. I loved playing basketball, but I was not very good at all! So I figured defensive player was closest to what I was.

Played the Rookie Showcase and I was really impressed with how I did.

                          Rookie Showcase Stats

I'm pretty excitied about having Mark Jackson as my head coach, only down fall of being picked by The Warriors is them already having Curry. It will take some time to crack the starting lineup.

Wow.... this was just a terrible game...

I had 44 points, 5 rebounds, NO ASSISTS, 7 steals, and 2 blocks.

Nobody could make a shot but me.

It felt I was literally the only one scoring.

                                And the final score? 86-96.

This was against Utah, by the way.
