So, I'm sure this has been asked a millions times, but how do I get My Player info to show up on the nba2.com website? I'm logging in online, I'm logged in in the game, and I've played like 28 games now. Nothing's showing up though.

Do you have bad timing on your shot release? Also, what's your consistency rating? Those play a role in your success.

My SF has a 90 midrange, 93 consistency, and I'll still miss wide open jumpers from time to time.

I see what you mean. I have a SG with 99 3pt, 99 medium, and 99 consistency, and I constantly brick wide open J's.

I can see missing a few good shots with A or A- shot quality, but a wide open 3, with A+ shot quality, and great shot timing, with a 99 3pt rated player, should go down 9 times out of 10.....at least IMO. With those kinds of shots, I should be surprised if I miss.

I decided against starting a new MP. Some of the bugs prevented me from wanting to starting a new one up. But, I will continue with some of my older ones. Both of them are established guys with good contracts(one with a title). I had 2 other MPs that I started more recently, but I messed up and deleted them.

My PF has a title, on the verge/chance of MVP, DPOY, and 2nd title. Most of his ratings are maxed. All the defensive and physical ratings are maxed, Shooting ratings(besides 3pt) are at 90. Besides Pass, 3pt, layup and standing Dunk, my offensive ratings are maxed(or close to). I am basically working on small ratings. 3pt is too expensive and it is at 40. After, I get Dunk to 90(at 82, just got Standing Dunk to 85), I will start saving for abilities. I will try to max Fadeaway and Post Spin, both at Good. Then Post Hook. I will probably stop playing with him once I win my second ring(depending on who we sign). He is on Pistons. I think I have about 5-6 games left in regular season. I wish I could recommend players to trade for. I want to get rid of Stuckey, Ariza, and Wallace. I would like either better defenders or spot up shooters and another Center. There is a few days away from All Star break. I am selected to my 2nd or 3rd All Star. I doubt we make the trade since we have the best record. He avg 26.4 pts, 10.5 reb, 1.9 blocks, 58% FG(1st in NBA), 1.5 steals, and 90+% FT

My SF isnt as established as the PF, but is close. The reason is, there is so much I could do with a SF. With a PF, most of the ratings have a lower cap and besides Post defense and a way to score, there isnt too many ratings you need to boost. With a SF, there is so much you could do. I have my most of my defensive either maxed or close to be, including block and def reb being maxed. Besides Strength being 2 pts away from being maxed, all of my Physical ratings are maxed. I have my ball handling ratings(not abilities) are maxed and my Shot Med maxed. I plan on boosting Pass and Off Clutch next. The ratings like Block, Def Reb, and Pass I boosted for simulated stats. I want to boost 3pt, but that is alittle expensive. AfterI get Off clutch and Pass(maxes at 80) maxed, I will get Dunk to 90. After, that, I dont really have pressing needs. if anything, I will boost some ratings I stopped at and Shot Close and Inside. Like my PF, I want to boost abilities. But unalike my PF, there is a ton of abilities I want to boost for my SF. Even though his athleticism mid-range is very high, it is hard to create space and shots for my self. Unless I get alot of Fastbreak and FT opportunities, I will shoot a low percentage. I want to boost my Dribbling Abilities(All Poor, but 2 of them), Fadeaway and Runner/Floater, Post Fadeaway and Spin. At least, I am closing in on a few big milestones. I think 5000 career pts(I think 600 away), 500 steals(I think 60 away), and Rebs(dont know which milestone and how many). When I get close to them, I will start saving up for abilities. I think the first abilities I boost will be dribbling, since I boosted 2 so far(Crossover and hesitation).

We won 91-88. My player had 22 points to start the season and 1 steal.

I was traded to the heat!!

Game 2
Heat vs Det
We won 110-88, my player had a CAREER HIGH 34 POINTS! 2 assists and one rebound.


So far, averaging 20 points a game. 15th in the NBA. Sixth man for the Heat. Rumors that other teams want me according to the announcers, but I think that's from my Heat trade.

SCORING PG/NEW YORK KNICKS/SUPERSTAR DIFFICULTY

Eastern Conference Finals: Game 1 vs. Heat

This was a total epic battle. It featured 5 All-Stars (me, Carmelo, Amar'e, LeBron, Wade). It went to OT and we ended up winning 93-92. In the final minute, Carmelo bricked ALL of his potential "clutch" shots, and with 37 seconds left, he got a rebound to me, with us down 3 for a fast-break and-1. I finished regulation with 25 points and 13 assists. LeBron proceeded to miss his potential game-winning shot, and Carmelo missed a pull-up jumper at the buzzer.

In OT, we took a 5 point lead 1:13 into the game, until 2 turnovers by me swung for the Heat to score 5 unanswered to tie the game! The would take a 1-point lead after Bosh drained one of two FTs. The pivotal play came when we were down 1 with 1:13 left in OT. I saw Okur and Chalmers switch, putting Chalmers on Zydrunas Ilgauskas. I quickly called the play for Ilgauskas post-up/screen and roll, and they doubled me, and Bosh decided not to play help D, and Ilgausakas coated for the easy lay-in to put us up by 1. LeBron would miss his shot, and I missed a 3-point curl off a screen, and D-Wade missed the buzzer-beating 3 after LeBron passed out of his shot. Epic win, and Game 2 is also in Miami.

Final Stats: 30 pts, 15 asts, 1 reb, 3 stl, 2 blk
Amar'e: 20 pts, 11 reb
Carmelo: 17 pts, 11 reb.

SMH. We win a 3OT thriller in Game 2 in Miami 134-129. I had 43 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 steals (Superstar Difficulty). Carmelo had 28 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Amar'e had 18 points and 10 rebounds...when they were presneting the Player of the Game, the game froze and now I have to restart the game. Luckily, we have a 60-43 lead at half!

How is it possible that I lead all Western Guards in All-Star votes yet I don't even start in the All-Star game and I only play 13 minutes?

And the CPU was playing defense like it was the NBA finals. I couldn't make anything, even my open shots.

It's a glitch that you will always be the 12th man every Alll-Star Game you make. Another one of the glitches those bozos in 2K need to fix...

And I just sim the All-Star Game, since I'm a perennial All-Star now, because it's not fun and loose like the real one.

Anyways, we're up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals. We won the first 2 in consecutive OT games, and than I simmed to next key game, since we're at home, and momentum means something while simming! In Game 4 and it's tied 44-44 after we storm back from a 10-point deficit. LeBron currently has 21 points!

For the first few games of my rookie season, they would actually talk about the history of the two teams playing each other and specific players on the court (eg. Kerr doesn't think John Wall will be as good as Derrick Rose, but will still do well); that went away as the season progressed.

Having a great start to my 6th season.

Through 3 games, I'm averaging:

38 ppg (yes really) 3 rpg 8 apg 2 spg 43% FG 45% 3P 85% FT

Also... My first windmill. I use Wesley Johnson's dunk package.

For the first few games of my rookie season, they would actually talk about the history of the two teams playing each other and specific players on the court (eg. Kerr doesn't think John Wall will be as good as Derrick Rose, but will still do well); that went away as the season progressed.

It's not only a My Player thing but it happens in association mode as well. I think they just don't have a huge elaborate database of events to talk about as the season progresses so during the first month or so the game just repeats old washed out story-lines, (which I get tired of hearing every game) then as the season goes on, the game enters generic mode for commentary...this is a huge downfall within these modes that I wish 2K would expand on. Would be nice if new story-lines could develop over the progress of the season and for years to come. Sort of how NBA Today always has fresh new commentary even the halftime show of NBA Today goes further in depth than association/my player modes halftime shows...Damon Bruce actually goes over lead leaders, monthly awards winners etc etc in NBA Today mode but that is left out in association and My Player.

hey guys ive maxed out myplayer in the point guard position but some other player starts as a pg and im in at sg, its really annoying as i like getting alot of assists and have to call for the ball as soon as he gets it. Is there a way you can change which position you start in? or is it just a matter of getting traded? stupid if u ask me why would u change the mvp for some muppet who is a first year starter, cheers guys

Looking to start a new player maybe a sf I have a sg and a c that I don't play with much anymore bc of the AI and just getting bored so just curious what would be good measurables for a sf and some good sliders and other settings to change so l can have a realistic mp and im changing the trade clause on all the big superstars to stop the crazy trading. So if anyone could help me with that, that would be great thanks.

In my player i have a 6'3 all around PG in my second season and i never shoot 3's with him but his 3pt tendencies is 41 and when i sim he shoots 3-6 3's a game and because my 3pt rating is low (67) he only make one or two. I'm not even in the half way point of the season and its says i shot 131 threes but only made 31 but the games i played in both first and second season i really shot only 30 threes and made 15 (estimate). Also his inside and Close tendencies are low (11) and his drive tendency is (33) I drive to the basket alot, only shoot Close or Mids or ill just pass the ball. Is there any way to lower my 3pt tendency but while raising my Inside,Close and Drive ? 2k should allow you to change you tendencies in nba 2k13

Made a PG just like me.

Dominated the Showcase.

Stats:

26 minutes, 23 points, 3 boards, 7 assists, 1 steal, 1 rejection, and only 2 turnovers.

It was a close game; 73-76.

I made a clutch 3 with about 50 seconds left in the game to give us the lead 72-74.
