Maybe after you retire, you can start a car dealership.

What's really pushing me into retirement is that there are so many key games. At this point I'd really just like to simulate most of the season and only play a few games, but there are 40+ key games, so unless I want to foul out of half the games in the season I'll be stuck playing.

I'm pretty sure irl they call this the grind I really dont want to know how you are doing on career achievements if you can already retire.

I've had that many key games since the beginning of my 3rd season. I'm in my 5th now. Playing Key Games is fun. I usually kill my matchup.

This is going to be how I do it after my 2nd season I think unless I enjoy every game than I will keep playing them all

*yawn* is there a team that can compete with us?
My 4th triple double this season; I think I played my best game this season, against a 4th place Indiana squad (22-13):

                  35 MIN
                  25 PTS (11-17 FG)
                  11 REB
                  11 AST
                  3 STL
                  2 BLK
                  1 TO

I could've gotten a no-TO game, but for a league-leader in TO (me) I'm trying to constantly improve, and this was a great first step.

Next up: Charlotte. Thinking of simming past this game, as it'll be an easy win for us.

Now that our bench has decided to show up, we're now dominating the NBA, and there's almost no team that can stop us as of now. Outside of our "Big 3" Bogans put in 22 points, Balkman with 10, Brown with 8, Douglas with 10, Miles with 13. A great game, and this is what we can become.

I think the names of difficulties (Rookie, Pro, All-Star, Superstar, HoF) actually does indicate the CPU abilities, in that, in Pro, you'll get the normal players, and their abilities; in All-Star, you will get players playing and having abilities of those All-Stars, normally fringe All-Stars, which is easy for me; Superstar means you'll have the CPU play much better, more like Superstars in the league (Rose, Kobe, etc.) and can hit more shots; HoF is just another CPU level lol.

I personally prefer Superstar because I like the challenge of the "normal" players becoming better, and it's like playing a much better person, which is what I would get from playing Tony Parker, for example.

Yea, I have 411k skill points in 110 career games.

So higher difficulty only affects the way the CPU can score? IKC has said that the CPU defense and team-mate play is the same, so if I want a more CPU challenge/competitiveness, I move up difficulties? Thinking of differences of Superstar and HoF.

                            2. This is a fair and logial assessment of the Difficulties.

In fairness to the developers, they would have to develop a seperate AI/CPU platform that ISOLATES the difficulty to just your my player to give me the "perfect" set of difficulties. I do not like the fact that my team suffers BC I want more of a challenge at the higher difficulties.

An Overall 70; playing like a "90" is a bit much for me at Superstar level and especially if that player IS NOT MY MATCHUP!

But I march on because the difficulty FORCES me to play my best every game. I can only play 3 games in one sitting now bc of the intense play. I have no idea what the playoffs have in store for me...

                            1. That being said, and assuming I can go to Free Agency, I am going to DARE YOU to move on from the Knicks when your contract is up! Misery loves company.

I'm currently halfway through my fourth season as a Point Guard in My Player. I was initially drafted to the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft. I won the Regular Season MVP as well as the Finals MVP with the Warriors, bringing home their first title in over 20 years. Ironically, my great Point Guard play sent Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry to the New Orleans Hornets for David West and Chris Paul. The Warriors also got Caron Butler for David Lee later on in the season. I played the next two seasons of My Player with Memphis winning back to back championships over there. My fourth season of My Player, I decided to play in Portland and man, I don't know if anyone else knows this but Portland is the BEST run and gun team in the game. Lamarcus Aldridge, Greg Oden and Paul George (he was traded there with for Gerald Wallace and Nic Batum), all cut to the basket on fast breaks. I average 11 assists a game and both Greg Oden and Lamarcus Aldridge average at least 15 points a game. Paul George is a beast too when it comes to alley oops. Playing with Memphis, the only guys that run hard to the basket on fast breaks is O.J. Mayo and Rudy Gay. On the Blazers, Brandon Roy (yeah I know, I started My Player before he announced his retirement so yeah, he's in Blazer team), Lamarcus Aldridge, Paul George and Greg Oden, all cut to the basket hard during fast breaks. It's fun to play with them. Did anyone else know about how good the Blazers offense is?

Making it simple is best in the tall trees!

@ Celtics - Key Game - Rival Matchup - In all honesty after picking up 3 fouls in the 1st half, I lost interest in this one with just 3 points, a rebound and a TO at the half. My shooting percentage was like 20% (rimming out layups and short jumpers) but we were just down by 7 points for most of the game.

In the 2nd Half; I just played the game out conceding a loss...

Completely oblivious to the fact that my defense, sharp passing and a dropping a shot here and there was slowing bringing my team back. At 2:54 - Goal Complete "Take the Lead" appeared and it finally dawned on me that we got a shot at pulling this one out!

A-Train blocked Rondo & Ray Allen's shot in the lane and stole the ball for a jam to seal the victory in Boston Garden (89-85).

Landry Fields had 19pts, so he must of picked up my slack in the 1st half, Anthony & Stoud had 20 apiece and A-Train finished with 17pts (7-19; 0-2 - 3pt), 3 rebs, 7 assts, 1 steal, 2 blocks and just 1 Turnover.

Other than the usual passing lane jumping by the opposing defense, this game was pretty clean of cheese and over the top performances. The Celtics are stacked with players, they have Ilyasova and Jermaine O'Neil besides the 4-headed monster (rondo, garnett, pierce, allen).

His mama had tickets: None; Oh, wait Ray Allen did pull off a spin layup dunk over Stoudemire in the 1st Quarter.

Tidbit: The photo is something I have picked up on recently. When your shot is off (AI induced) entering the lane with "trees" it's smarter to just lay it up instead of trying to dunk over big men. Alot of times the animation will break the dunk motion or it will "clang" off the rim.

Draft Glitch - Rookie: "Damon Christie" - 1st Round (pick 6) rookie, he is just a (OVR: 64) - Since the last patch/update I have not seen or have been aggravated by the Draft Glitch... don't know if 2k as a temporary fix lowered their rating or not? (recent games Celtics, Sixers, Bulls, Clippers)
However, way too many of them have my cyberface!

You are wasting your time Rookie!

Vs. Cavaliers - The cellar dweller and the kind of game I hate to play bc of the AI competitive crapola that goes on and I will just leave it there. No consistent shot, went to the passing game and was able to make the necessary plays on defense and the classic game winning "swoop to the hoop" in OT. Knicks 94; Cavs 93. Four Wins in a Row!!!

Anthony foul trouble and shot off the entire game, 10pts, Stoudemire 24pts, Fields 15pts, A-Train, 20pts (9-19), 3 Rebs, 11 Assists, 2 Steals, 4 TOs.
I expected Kyrie Irving to play well and he did; 24pts; just a little cheese, he hit 2 3s with A-Train RIGHT IN HIS GRILL.

THE BOOING IS BACK! TMC: 93 LGE WIDE POP: 96 LOC FAN SUP: 95

No Rumor Mill this time so its must be tied to LFS. 5th on the MVP Candidate list. (Turned down the Crowd Vol to 25 to keep me from blowing my top)

Skill Points: Was able to get Shot 3-pt to (82-85) with the Key Game skill points of 3050 and the Milestone (3000). Quickness is just (91) needs to go to (94), so I need another 6000 to get that up and get 3-pt (86 or 87) for the playoffs. Then hopefully will be able to save for some Dribbling abilities.

At this level (Superstar) all the Guards are scoring on A-Train (On Ball D-95) based on the separation of the Dribble move to get open space. It's hard to watch something you can't do and you know its limiting our performance!
