Been chugging along for about 7 games and I just don't know how to contribute, how are you guys getting so good so fast? Started out as an all-around PG, but I've only gotten minutes as a SG even though all my scoring attributes are subpar at best, dunno if I'm just going about this the wrong way or something.

I just started too and I average over 30ppg and a B teammate average. You should run plays and actually follow the plays. Let your teammates take shots and cherry pick when you get the opportunity. Look to pass more, grab rebounds, when your team is coming down on a fast break creep into the corner for a wide open 3... just a few tips.. oh and also 2 more great ways to build up your grade fast is to call for double teams, they give you a good amount. And also hit last second shots at the end of a quarter, they give u a huge boost.

I just really cant wait until I can start dunking. Layups are killing me sometimes. Is there any way you can make a guard that dunks right off the bat? Its kinda unrealistic that a player has to build up his dunking ability when he's in the NBA. Most of the best NBA prospects can dunk since like 6th grade lol

How do you get the Jordan attribute boost sneakers? Do u have to have a high league wide popularity or something? Also how are u supposed to boost your abilities when they cost 17000 skill points? Is that something you do once u maxed out all your players attributes?

depends on how well you play and just save your skills points to raise abilities

finally got the game!

still waiting for the rookie draft class to be inserted into the game though.

after that, i will start my first career in this year's installment of My Player mode.

hopefully, it's as fun as 2k11...even though, i have heard issues of bad trades and low quality shots taken by your teammate....

i guess i'll have to find a workaround like last year to run a smooth offense....

still going with an all-around PG....always

I am waiting for the patch to restart MP. The bad trades really damper this mode for me.

Yea soooo, I'm guessing I don't get pain in the playoffs or something? Might be because my contract is up, but I'm currently in the 2nd round of the playoffs in my 2nd year, and there is a -- where it tells me how many days I have left until my next payday. Idk.

Yea soooo, I'm guessing I don't get pain in the playoffs or something? Might be because my contract is up, but I'm currently in the 2nd round of the playoffs in my 2nd year, and there is a -- where it tells me how many days I have left until my next payday. Idk.

Once you complete the playoff round(win or lose) you should get paid.

hey so does anybody know if 2k is going to patch My Player mode to reduce the amount of trades?

Things I would like added for next year:
1. Sim games without having to sim to next key game.

2. Ability to control at least SOME coaching options\play calling... There should be a way that you can control what plays your team runs for your player....

3. Ability to put your face on your MP

4. Obviously tone down the trades big time

5. WAYYYY better tattoos!!

Same with me thats what i recently observed almost every time when the ai got the ball and throw 3 bombs at you will just get mad on it.. my MP also is a pg 6'7 all around its much better to handle the ball and make plays with your team mate, anyway how much skill points you allotted in your 3pt skills? i was contemplating with my mp to be upgraded whether to be athletic or 3pt shooter.. tnx

My Shot Medium and Shot 3pt both max out at 99, and I've filled them both. I can't hit the 3 with regularity like I could in 2K11, even with 3pt at 99. Frustrating, especially when I'm missing wide open 3s. I'm lucky if I hit 30% from out there, with good timing and good shot selection.

Just continue playing and put your skill points that you think you will be needing in the development of your player, eventually your shoes will come

Thanks, i just recently put it on to dunks, it think this is better with high vertical jump and high dunks every time i stole the ball i exploded to the basket

Sooo...did I miss something or did someone already explain why we can't wear the retro Jordans in Mp mode, and also, just wanted to share that I deleted my Signature shoe, because I didn't like the color, thinking I could just go to my endorsements like last year and edit them, but I was wrong.

Question what happens if you turn down the 3 teams that interview you? I basically I wasn't interested any of them so what happens afterwards?
