A little extra info, I'm playing 12 min quarters, hall of fame diffuculty with Cripwalk sliders. Also, I'm playing 2 games of every week in the season. CPU trades are turned off, but time from time I make CPU trades such as I traded Ramon Sessions to the Lakers for the Mavericks 1st round pick (they absorbed his cap with the Odom "trade exception").

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I've been poking around a little after our 1st win/game against Toronto, and I found I trade I was thinking of accepting but I want a realistic season, so can I have an opinion?
76ers trade: Andre Iguodala,2012 1st round
Jazz trade:Al Jefferson
Logic: The 76ers get a consistent big that can grab rebounds, which they have been missing for a while. Meanwhile, they also free up the SF slot for Thaddeus Young, who has shown flashes that he is indeed a capable starter.
The Jazz get rid of one of their many bigs, which frees up playing time for Enes Kanter, their 3rd overall pick and Derrick Favors, who both have all-star potential and get Andre Iguodala, an all-star with great defense and scoring capability- who can fill the void Andreis Kirlienko left very nicely. They also get a draft pick which may be a lottery pick in a very deep draft and can possibly snag a player such as Kendall Marshall.

Their is a way to get Shumpert and Brooks without giving up anyone from the starting lineup and without using trade override.Comment

Thank you. Do you happen to know? and i really would only need one. So maybe i can use other peices to go with who ever im getting from pau.Comment

For Marshon Brooks you can trade Darius Morris, Jason Kapono and a first round draft pick for Brooks and the Nets rookie PF. You have to take the rookie PF or the Nets won't accept the trade.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
O, ok thank you very much i will try them out. But one question if Shump is 2 1/2 stars then how do i trade him and Barnes?Comment

I was able to trade Barnes for Shumpert straight up. I used trade finder on Shumpert and they asked for Barnes and a pick but I removed the draft pick and it still worked.Comment

Heck, i did it for Barnes both first rounds and a second!Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
Has anyone seen enough injuries in their Association on default sliders? I'm 22 games deep and still haven't seen one injury for either team. I'm thinking about bumping it up. Any ideas what I should set it at to get realistic results?Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
Alright, in my Pistons association, I made to goal of bringing the "D" back to Detroit. I traded away Ben Gordon, Jason Maxiell, Vernon Macklin, and my 2012 2nd round pick for Al Jefferson.
I also traded away Stuckey, Prince, Villenueva, Russell, and Jerebko.
All together, I ended up acquiring the Bobcats 1st and 2nd round picks for 2012 and a few players in the 50's overall with 1 year contracts.
This would create about 35 million in cap space for the off season, which had me excited. The Pistons finished with 30 wins surprisingly, Al Jefferson averaged 28ppg and was voted into the All-Star game.
Kevin Durant won the MVP award and the Heat won the NBA finals 4-1 over the Thunder. Lebron James was named Finals MVP.
I ended up with the #1 (via Charlotte) and #11 overall picks. I selected myself #1 overall (edited into the draft class 82 overall) and Kidd-Gilchrist at #11 (70 overall). I also re-signed Al jefferson to a 6 year $106 million deal. I signed both rookies and then went into FA looking for some support players.
I signed A. Kirilenko and a couple others (don't remember off the top of my head).
I went into the 2013 season with my starting five looking like this:
PG - Brandon Knight
SG - Myself
SF - Andrei Kirilenko
PF - Greg Monroe
C - Al Jefferson
I had a great 2012 season, finishing #2 in the east behind the Miami Heat. Al Jefferson was my only All Star once again, but my CAP won rookie of the year.
I defeated the 76ers in the 1st round 4-2, then the Magic in the 2nd round 4-1. I surprisingly met the #8 seed Atlanta Hawks in the conference finals who I easily eliminated 4-0. The Hawks had upset the Heat 4-3 in the first round.
I met the Warriors in the finals and the Pistons were crowned NBA Champions in a 4-2 series victory. My CAP was Finals MVP.
I re-signed Greg Monroe to a 6 year $100 million contract, and also re-signed Austin Daye. I traded away my 1st and 2nd round draft picks for a 1st and 2 2nd round picks next season since I liked the way my team was set for the most part.
I signed Chris Kaman in the off season to fill out my roster to 12 players.
Here's my starting 5 for 2014:
PG - Brandon Knight (82)
SG - Myself (88)
SF - Austin Daye (71)
PF - Greg Monroe (88)
C - Al Jefferson (92)
I couldn't have imagined how well my team would do, finishing 1st place in the East and entire NBA with a record of 68-14.
I eliminated the Bobcats in 4-0 in the first round, the Nets 4-2 in the 2nd round, the Heat 4-3 in the conference Finals, and the Nuggets 4-2 to win the NBA title.
Now I'm going into the off-season looking to re-structure my own contract and Brandon Knight's, also have a long road of editting attributes. I edit at least the starters on every team each off season to reflect how they preformed.
Most teams have fallen apart except Miami and Atlanta. Atlanta added Stuckey as their starting PG, helping them become a true contender. And Miami has remained intact. Bynum left LA and is now on the Kings. There's no true #1 team in the West anymore.
San Antonio traded away Manu and Duncan. Dallas traded Dirk and Vince. The Nuggets traded Nene. The Thunder let Harden go and have no one over a 68 OVR except Durant and Westbrook, who keep them too good to finish bad enough to get good rookies.
Will update after the next season.Comment

Re: NBA 2K12: The Official Association/Online Association Thread
I have a weird issue. Forgive me if this has been adressed already, but a google search came up empty.
I'm now in my 2nd season with the bulls and after playing 2 games, my record is 2-2. I thought that I had missed something at first, but after simming a couple of more games I realized that the W/L record didn't match up with the amount of games played.
Has anyone encountered this problem before and if so, how can I fix it?
Thanks.Comment
