What do you guys think of this trade?
Pistons send:
Ben Gordon
Jason Maxiell
Vernon Macklin
Future 1st round pick
Jazz send:
Al Jefferson
Current 2nd round pick
I'd like to pair up Jefferson with Monroe in the post. This gives the Jazz another decent scorer in Gordon while letting Kanter get more time in and adding depth in the post. Ran it through the NBA Trade Machine without the picks and it came out successful.
Not a good trade for Detroit IMO. Detroit is looking for a defensive minded Center so they can move Monroe to the 4. They could move him to the 4 with this trade but their interior D would be abysmal. Monroe is decent but Jefferson is horrid.Comment

Currently at the trading deadline and the Suns are doing God awful. Really want to find a deal for Nash (going to a contender preferably). Any suggestions?Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Is he retiring at the end of the season? If he's staying, then try Nash to POR for Oden and a lottery protected 1st rounder. Everyone else says that PHO should get Felton, but I don't think they should since they have Aaron Brooks coming back soon.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Steve Nash, Josh Howard, Childress to the Trailblazers
Devin Harris, Greg Oden, Greald Wallace to the Suns
Grant Hill and Raymond Felton to the Jazz
(could also put in some first rounders but don't know where)
or
Oden, Felton, Lotto 1st to Suns
Nash to Blazers

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Other ideas I had for were to trade him to a contender and if it doesn't work out he can choose to somewhere else in FA. If Deron doesn't go the Mavs I could see Nash teaming up with Dirk in Dallas for one last go at a title.
I also heard some NBA analyst talking about where about how Indiana could use him for a title run. IMO Indy is better off with Collison since they have a young team that could be tough for while."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

In Year 1 of my association, PHX got the 6th seed and faced LA in the first round. We lost in 7 games, really exciting though. Kinda bittersweet since Nash and Hill retired in the offseason and we were left with a late draft pick....
PS I'll be offline for a while, watching LinComment

I don't see this as good move for Portland, they give up Wallace(expiring deal) and get back Josh Howard(not close to player he once was) and Childress with his awful deal."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
If anyone started their association on Roster set 3, I could upload a video of my Aaron Brooks CAP. Just take a created player (Doesn't work with Draft Class guys) like Chris Johnson, and edit him. I copied all of his ratings, tendencies, and signatures but I edited him to fit with BEds rosters. And don't forget to boost Wilson Chandler, Jeff Green, JR Smith, and Kenyon Martin's speed and quickness up. There at a 50, because I think BEd wanted their rating to go down.Comment

I traded him to Portland for Felton, Oden, and a lottery protected first round pick. Nash is from the Pacific Northwest so it seems like a place he might want to stay after his contract is up.

First of all nobody's speed should beat 50. Second of all I didn't edit them to lower their ratingUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment
