i don't see anyone wanting maggette. as for Diaw, he is easy because he is expriring, and gerald henderson can be packaged and traded

the only trade i could come up with is this

Korver, Watson, Brewer, '13 1st to Bobcats
    Henderson, Diaw, Augustin to Bulls

and i don't think its even that good...

I don't see the Bulls having much use for Maggette since they only have about 10 minutes available for SF position behind Deng. Atlanta wouldn't want to take on the extra salary for a player like Maggette. What about Maggette to Lakers for Barnes, Kapano and Walton?

Chicago isn't good fit for him I don't think. The Lakers deal isn't bad, but I don't have any use for Barnes or Kapono and Walton is a bad salary. So I might as well amnesty him. I can't think of many good trades at all.

Your not going to get much for him. The point would be to trade him so that you could give your younger players minutes. You could just sit him on the bench, but I don't think that would be that realistic. Just curious do you like Tyrus at 4 for you?

Yeah I realize that. That's why I kind of liked the ATL trade because I got an expiring contract. Right now I have completely benched him for lack of production.

Tyrus has done pretty well. I run a lot of pick and roll and pick and pop so he fits in well. Kind of feels like a poor man's Amare Stoudemire. He is very athletic and can finish at the rim and can also knock down the mid range jumper. I think he may fit in best as a backup though. My hope would be to draft Anthony Davis and bring Tyrus off the bench behind Davis and Biyombo.

I assume you would have Mullins as 4th big then, which is pretty solid frontcourt. I was just curious because if you didn't like Tyrus then you should just use the amnesty on him. Here's a few suggestions I would have for you then:

1.Trade Augustin. I don't see a role for him with Kemba as their too alike and you could get a decent haul back for him. One interesting deal would be Augustin and Henderson for Wes Matthews

              2. Move Diaw. Your not going to resign him and you could get a decent piece back for him. One deal you could do would be Diaw to Rockets for Terrence Williams and Thabeet

I don't plan on keeping Augustin long term. If I can't find a deal now, I might re-sign him right now and attempt to trade him for a pick in the offseason.

Houston is an interesting destination for Diaw. Do you think I could do Dragic/Flynn instead of Williams? I'm looking for a backup PG for Walker if I move Augustin.

If you do Flynn I think it would be fair. I have Houston resigning Dragic in off-season and letting go Flynn so they don't have much use for Flynn.

Another deal I thought of that you could do is Maggette, Mullens and Higgins for Jermaine O'Neal, Pietrus and Dooling. Get the Celtics some much needed scoring off the bench while you get expiring contracts. You can then use your amnesty on Diop in the off-season to give you a good amount of cap space

What is you guys' opinion on Paul George and the Pacers?? Would the Pacers be willing to part ways with George for the right price or do they plan on him being their next superstar? I'm asking because I'm the Wizards and I'm a huge fan of George and would love to pair him with Wall. I'm thinking about doing these trades posted by TSF:

Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman to IND for Danny Granger and two first round picks then trading away Kaman to the T wolves for Beasley and Webster (expiring contract).

If the Pacers have Gordon at SG and both George, and Beasley would they be willing to re-sign Beasley and trade away George for more young players and draft choices?

What would the Wizards have to give up? Singleton and a future first? Singleton, Jordan Crawford and two seconds? Thoughts?

BTW Sorry for the length, I appreciate your feedback!

I don't think the Pacers would trade George, especially after trading away Granger. If they added Gordon by trading Granger and move George to SF which is a more natural position for him in the long run. I don't think they would resign Beasley, he doesn't seem like a player Larry Bird would want around for long.

Washington to have to give a lot more than Singleton and/or Jordan and the pick would have to be unprotected. If your desperate to get George it may be more realistic to wait until the offseason. If Washington's pick was top 5 and Indiana could draft a young replacement SF like Harrison Barnes then they might be willing to give up George, but it stills seems like a stretch to me.

Yeah that's what I was thinking I was just hoping I could somehow get George...what I might do is, if I don't get the first pick (Anthony Davis) I can swap firsts with them and also give them Singleton and maybe another young guy. The Wizards will assuredly have a top 5 pick and if the Pacers are late lottery (later if they make playoffs like they should) it could be worth them moving up. Depending on where Beasley plays, either SF or PF the Pacers can get a replacement for George (MKG/Barnes) or an upgrade at PF like Sullinger, T Rob, or Moultrie. I also believe a young combo of Barnes and Singleton would >= George. Combine the silky smooth scoring of Barnes with the rugged defender/rebounder would make up the loss of George. The addition of Beasley in this scenario would allow the Pacers to spread the floor and have shooters at 1-4 positions and also give room for big ole Roy Hibbert to work.

Or am I just totally looking through Fresno State red tinted glasses? lol

Personally I think george>Barnes. I just don't see the trade happening because realistically if the wizards think Barnes and singleton>George, then the trade wouldn't even happen

CHA gets: Matt Barnes, Jason Kapono, Ryan Hollins (all expiring)
CLE gets: Luke Walton, TPE from LAL, 1st round pick from LAL
LAL gets: Corey Maggette, Ramon Sessions

It appears that everyone gets a good deal here. LA gets a PG and scoring at SF, I get rid of Maggette and gain cap space, and Cleveland gets a draft pick.

(note: on the trade machine, I used Ebanks instead of Kapono since Kapono can't be traded IRL till March 1. The salaries are very similar though.)

I agree the Cavs give a pretty good PG who is sought after by a few teams and gets back a third string SF who is grossly overpaid and a late(I assume Lakers are doing fairly well) 1st round pick. It seems like they could get more out of trading Sessions than that.
